Story
Lada is a sweet, affectionate mixed breed whose age while unknown is guessed by our veterinarian as about 1 year. She loves to cuddle and turn over so her belly is rubbed. She plays fetch. She is house-broken and crate-trained. She likes being in her crate in our bedroom at night. She’s wicked smart and the sky is the limit on what tricks she can learn. She is very healthy. She’s a good eater and is not fussy about food. Lada is up-to-date on all vaccinations and NextGard Plus chews. Lada is spayed and chipped. She is about 35 pounds. We will hand over all vet records and results of a DNA test. We adopted her in October. We do not know her history before then. The fact of the matter is that we are older and fear we cannot control her when we are on walks and she sees another dog. She has never attacked another dog, but she lunges and barks until the dog is out of sight. Lada is good with children and visitors to our house, including our grandchildren, who are toddlers.

Story
Sean is a 7-year-old male Mini Australian Shepherd with big “main character energy.” He absolutely loves people and thrives on attention and affection. His favorite thing in the world is being with his person, he’s very interactive, engaging, and truly just wants to be your best friend. He is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and has had extensive training. He knows basic commands like sit, down, and heel, and has very extensive (and expensive) training. He does occasionally jump up for pets, bark, or pull a bit on leash — nothing out of the ordinary, just normal dog stuff. Sean does great with people (although he has lunged at strangers/unfamiliar children that run up to him) but he really would like to be the only dog and get lots of attention. He has nipped other dogs in the household, I believe this is a pack thing and he wants to maintain his popularity status. He doesn't have any issues at the dog park.

Story
Meet Seven.Yes, that Seven. The internet can argue about 6 / 7 all it wants — he’s very confidently Seven. Seven came to Perfectly Imperfect Pups with vision and hearing challenges, but if you watched him for five minutes, you might question that diagnosis entirely. The vet suspects he doesn’t see much, yet he navigates our house with ease, rarely bumps into anything, and handles stairs like a pro. His hearing is selective rather than absent — he may not catch every everyday sound, but certain noises get an immediate, clear response. What stands out most is not what Seven can’t do, but how much he can do. He’s incredibly smart. Curious. An enthusiastic explorer who loves being outside and discovering the world. He’s doing very well with potty training and we’re actively working on crate training, where he’s already showing great progress. He sleeps comfortably in a crate and settles in nicely. Seven is also everything you want in a puppy. Sweet. Cuddly. Affectionate. He adores other dogs and plays beautifully with them. He bonds quickly and deeply with his people. If you didn’t know he had vision and hearing challenges, you likely wouldn’t notice at all. Seven is going to make an exceptional family member for someone who’s ready to love a dog who may do things a little differently — and wonderfully so. Perfectly Imperfect, just as he’s meant to be. pipsrescue.org/adopt ##2640231##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Meet Rae - Your Next Adventure Buddy!  Rae is a sweet cuddly 5-year-old Aussie mix.  She was found abandoned in a church parking lot. A family at the church took her in but quickly realized she needs a home with a companion dog. However, they will continue to foster her and our rescue will connect you to them if you are interested in adopting Rae. She is house-trained, knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and has excellent recall. Rae is energetic, sometimes vocal, and thrives in a home with another confident dog to help her buidl leadership and trust. While she is fine with children, her herding instincts make her best suited for a home without small kids. If you're looking for a loyal, active companion with a heart full of love, Rae is waiting to meet you! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 6, 2026, 11:42 am

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Rocky, a laid-back, big-hearted guy who`s looking for the perfect companion. Rocky thrives in a calm, quiet home, ideally with an individual or couple who can offer him the peace he craves. While he`s tolerant of kids, he prefers to snuggle only with his bonded person. True to his cattle dog nature, Rocky is protective of his territory and takes his time warming up to newcomers. But with a few tasty treats, he’s quick to make new friends! Out in public, like at Lowes or the park, he’s friendly and allows people to pet him. He’s an easy-going guy who enjoys nice walks or short hikes and does well on a leash. However, he’s not a fan of other dogs and would prefer to be the only pup in the home. Rocky is food-driven, so with patience and training, he can overcome his dog-on-dog challenges.Rocky is fully house-trained, and he’ll always let you know when it`s time to go potty. He can be left home alone for long periods and is perfectly well-behaved—no chewing, no accidents. He’s also pretty good at following basic commands: sit, down, stay, and come. He doesn’t jump up on guests or try to dash out the door when it opens. While he can tolerate cats, small animals like squirrels aren’t his thing, and he won’t chase them. He enjoys playing tug-of-war and carrying around his stuffies (though he doesn’t chew them up!). Rocky also loves to bury bones and toys that he’s particularly fond of.He has a sensitivity to certain ingredients like corn, wheat, and soy, so he requires allergy-friendly food. He’s also afraid of thunderstorms, so a little extra care during storms will go a long way.Though Rocky hasn’t been crate trained, he seems to like the idea of having his own space. With his thick fur, he does require regular brushing, but professional grooming isn’t necessary. He`s not a fan of water or swimming, but he doesn’t bark excessively—just enough to alert when something’s up.If you’re ready for a loyal companion who thrives on a peaceful, loving environment, Rocky could be your guy!
