Meet Bright! The first time you see him you will be captivated by his smile! If you’re holding a treat he will sit, come & even stand up & beg! Bright is the size of a Kelpie with German shepherd coloring & fur. He is around 2 years old & 46 lbs. He has a very shepherd personality who’s been through professional behavior training so he’s an incredibly talented guy but still has a goofball side. Bright may be well trained but personality is personality and he’s NOT compatible with young children or small animals. We do require participation in learning his training skills to make sure he’s the right fit forever. Bright is smart, bunch and SASSY! He loves toys & will do anything for a treat but would do best with an experienced dog owner. Bright is good in a crate, loves the car & would love to be the center of your world! Apply to adopt him today!! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. And I am a DARK chocolate girl with red highlights :) and a Deep Thinker :) I am a sweet girl, but i have to know you first. I am NOT a "kiss on the first date" kinda dog!! My rescue has no idea what the beginning of my life was..... but they know that, if you give me a little time to get to know you, you will have the bestest friend EVER! I am.a fuzzy girl too.. This adorable girl is full of personality and ready to steal your heart! She is a playful pup who absolutely loves having a doggy friend to romp around with, and she has been having a blast with her foster family’s resident dog. When playtime is over, she’s more than happy to curl up for some serious snuggles. She has also been wonderful with her foster family’s kids, ages 12 and 14, making her a fun and loving addition to the family. Like any young pup, she’s still working on a few things. She is continuing to learn her potty-training skills, isn’t quite comfortable walking on a leash yet, and is still learning that her crate is a safe and cozy place to be. The good news? She has already made progress and is no longer barking when she has to go in! With her playful personality, love of cuddles, and absolutely adorable face, she’s sure to make someone a wonderful companion. She just needs a family willing to keep helping her learn and grow!
