Story
Piper is 6 years old and the smartest dog I’ve ever owned. We rescued Piper from an Amish farm — one farm had pure bred Aussies, the neighbor farm had pure bred Border Collies, Piper was part of an accidental mixed litter. Piper mastered “sit”, “stay”, “lay down”, and “come” within a few weeks of coming home. She now responds to all four commands in sign-language: ✊, ✋, 👇, 🤌. When not on leash, she may dart away but always comes back. At home, she can confidently be trusted without one. Piper is a cuddler, a lover, and obsessed with her master. Piper is also too aware to cope with our children: 19 month old and 4 month old. We’ve never had a safety issue, never a bite or anything close. Piper is just jealous and now barks at us, often. We aren’t able to give her the attention or exercise she needs. We plan to have more children. If you need a best friend, have land, or older children: she’s an amazing dog. I will miss her.. Fees can be waived for the right home.

Story
I adopted my dog from a lady who had puppies from her Aussie girl dog and bloodtick coonhound boy dog. She will be one in May. I unfortunately have to move out of my home I just bought and into a trailer. She has a lot of energy and needs a yard to run in. She sweet, playful, kissy, energetic, smart, and restless. She responds to sit, paw, high five, sit, lay. She behaves well with a shock collar on. The collar doesn’t get used anymore she just behaves with it on her neck but without use. She is cage trained when she needs to be. No house accidents since she was a tiny puppy. She been around cats, dogs, and kids of all ages. She loves outdoors and does well with taking a bath. Also will give any leftover food, large crate, toys, leash, shampoo that we have for her.

Story
Leia is a 6 year old Blue Merle Australian shepherd who is a fierce bullet of jumping energy who is very friendly and loving with people, loves to chase cats (playfully), play with any kind of toy, and loves to chew hard on bones. She loves to tug with you but prefers to win. She is a jumper and very excitable and will sneak jumping kisses quicker than you are ready for. She follows me everywhere and has to know exactly what I'm doing at all times and is a very loyal and loving dog. She absolutely loves to run and chase anything. She is very eager to please and is well trained to alert you when she needs to go potty outside. She loves to be brushed. She will cuddle with you but isn't really a lap dog. She's more of the be near you all the time kind of dog but loves the pets and attention. She does get jealous for attention which leads into the important part about her - she is not great with other dogs. I moved in with my boyfriend and she is not getting along with his dogs.

Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Jeb is an Australian Shepherd who needs a home better suited to his needs. After a short trial in our multi-dog home, it’s clear he does not do well living with other dogs and would likely do best as an only dog (or with very careful introductions). He is affectionate, cuddly, loves attention, and is good with visitors/adults. He walks well on leash and is continuing to work on leash manners. He is very bonded and protective of his person and can be sensitive to loud noises/yelling. No known bite history. He may be an escape risk (has jumped a chain-link fence in a prior home), so a secure yard is important. He needs daily enrichment/exercise and a calm, experienced home (someone home often preferred). He does not do well in a crate and will panic. Previous owners report he did well with a pet bird, but compatibility with cats/small animals is unknown.

Story
Meet Bernice! She’s only about 50lbs and 1.5-2 years old. Shes fabulous with other dogs and good with kids. Bernice loves to zoomie, she’s generally gentle and walks well on a leash. She’s potty trained and has good house manners. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   February 5, 2026, 9:51 pm

Story
Rusty is a mini Australian Shepherd. He is up to date on shots and will be neutered prior to adoption. He is a fun little guy but can be bossy at times with other dogs, so if he has other furry siblings they would need to be a submissive dog. He is a very sweet loving boy who will be your new best friend very quickly.
