Story
Meet Bright! The first time you see him you will be captivated by his smile! If you’re holding a treat he will sit, come & even stand up & beg! Bright is the size of a Kelpie with German shepherd coloring & fur. He is around 2 years old & 46 lbs. He has a very shepherd personality who’s been through professional behavior training so he’s an incredibly talented guy but still has a goofball side. Bright may be well trained but personality is personality and he’s NOT compatible with young children or small animals. We do require participation in learning his training skills to make sure he’s the right fit forever. Bright is smart, bunch and SASSY! He loves toys & will do anything for a treat but would do best with an experienced dog owner. Bright is good in a crate, loves the car & would love to be the center of your world! Apply to adopt him today!! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   August 22, 2026, 6:48 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Mattel. I am about 3 years old in Little People years, a Golden Retriever/Australian Kelpie Dog mix, so truely an all American Girl! I raised my own litter of 10 Littlest Pets and now that they all are in their own habitats, it's my turn! I will adopt any puppy, aged baby-teenager. I loved being a mom!  My foster mom says I have the gentle nature of the Golden Retriever and I'm just a dollbaby to have around. I am a little shy when I meet new people because I'm from the hills of Kentucky and didn't have a lot people around when I was growing up.  I'm game for whatever activity as long as I'm with you, from a road trip in your Hot Wheels, (I'm super chill in the car)leisurely walks or lounging poolside. My Dream House is with someone that loves to cuddle on the couch, gives belly rubs and has a fluffy dog bed for me to nap on.  I am crate/house trained and sleep in my crate at night. I'm great at quiet time, shaking hands, the basic obedience commands and being a lap dog. I also get the zoomies, play with toys and get excited for playtime with my people.  Are you looking for a new bestie? No need to consult your Magic 8 Ball. The answer is YES! I'll be your new Best Friend!! Only $250 and I'm all yours! (Monopoly money not accepted lol) All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Rehoming Bandit, 2 years old. He is a pitbull cattle dog mix, neutered, and up to date on all shots. We adopted him from the shelter, but he is not working out in our household. We have three dogs, and Bandit fixates on one of them. He constantly roughhouses, bites during play, and does not calm down around the other dogs. When he is alone with me, he listens well and is much calmer, so I believe he would do best as the only dog. He has a lot of energy and needs more exercise and structure than we can provide. He spends long hours in the crate while we are at work, and that is not fair to him. He jumps on people when excited and knocks over my six year old daughter, so I do not recommend a home with small children. Bandit is friendly, affectionate, and loves to cuddle and give kisses. He listens and is calm when it’s just me and him one on one. He just needs a home that fits his energy level and personality, and with someone that is able to give him structure and match his energy!

Story
Pippa is a year and 9 month old Aussie shepherd/terrier mix we rescued from a Chicago area shelter in Feb 2025. She is high energy, curious and loving, finding belly scratches and bully sticks tastes of heaven. She goes to daycare on an as needed basis as when we have all day medical appointments on occasion; she enjoys her time there and all reports is that she gets along with other dogs well. She gets excited meeting people in our home, but is not aggressive. While still young she’s very energetic as we moved last year and we are facing serious medical issues that are keeping us from giving her the opportunities to play, run, go walks and be her. happy-to-be-here self. We think an owner with whom she can bond while still young would be best. She has some skin allergy issues that we are trying to clear right now. Otherwise she’s happy, sweet and likes nothing more than to be with her people. We would like to rehome Pippa within Miami, Shelby, Darke or Clark counties of Ohio.
