Story
Brownie is a female cattle dog (possibly Australian Kelpie) / pit mix, approximately a year old and 40lb. She's energetic, playful and affectionate with people, and has been great with our young kids (8 and 4 years old). She's submissive and wil say hi by laying down for a belly rub. But once she gets up, it's playtime! She loves to run, play chase, tug and chew on her toys. Brownie is housebroken and crate trained, and she knows how to sit. But she needs basic training to learn how to walk on a leash and keep her paws off people and the counter. Because she's a cattle dog, she's highly active and has a curious mind, so she needs a home where she can get regular exercise and stimulation. She'd probably make a great frisbee dog for someone willing to train her. Not sure if Brownie gets along with other dogs. Our existing dogs haven't been friendly, so she hasn't been friendly back. She has not been cat tested. Spayed, vaccinated, chipped, heartworm-negative and healthy!

Cricket is a confident, independent dog looking for someone to take him on adventures! He's easygoing, walks really nicely on his leash, and knows sit and will do it very patiently for a treat. He's a really smart guy that likes the company of other dogs, enjoys pets, and while he may try to sit in your lap, he's not going to be glued to you. Nope - this boy isn't a stage five clinger at all. He's easy peasy, playful, and curious (but watch out, squirrels!). We got her from the San Marcos animal shelter about almost a year ago. She’s going onto 3 years old and very friendly! Slow introductions need to be set with anyone and any animals! She’s protective over family so she makes a great family/protective dog. Prefer a ranch for her but if you have a big yard and time for her that’s also fine. She’s a great dog, loves to go on walks, baths and going to the backyard. When she gets comfortable, she lays near you or close by. She loves food especially!
