Story
Esme is a playful 3 year old. She is very loving and only wants cuddles and treats. Me and my s/o got her from Austin pets alive a few months ago and quickly realized we are not equipped to have a dog, we have tried to adjust because we love her so much but our schedules won’t allow it. She has had a couple accidents on the floor but I believe it’s only because of infrequent walks due to living in an apartment and having busy schedules. I would love for her to go to a home with a yard or people who love being outdoors. She is trainable we’ve been able to teach her sit and stay. The adoption fee is only for her items such as crate, toys, beds, food dishes, treats, harness, leash, collar, and food.

Story
I began fostering Bruce for a friend who was having some medical issues and had just began fostering him herself. He’s partially trained but needs some more work and someone that can dedicate more time to him. He is crate trained and house trained and has had no inside plumbing issues since I first took him in mid-October. I take him to the dog park regularly and he gets along well/plays well with the other dogs. His walking skills need some work and he wants to chase every animal or wind blown plant he sees. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and highly recommend someone with a house and a big yard because he does need more space to roam than I’m able to provide.

Story
Lil Sebastian has been in a shelter environment since March 2025, and he’s had a hard time adjusting to life behind kennel doors. He arrived at PAWS in May, and like so many sensitive dogs, he's been quietly trying to cope with the noise, stress, and unpredictability of shelter life. We don’t know what Seb’s life looked like before PAWS — but based on his behavior, we can guess that he hasn’t always been treated with kindness. He’s shy and avoidant at first, preferring to hang back and observe. He may not rush up to greet you, and he likely won't be the dog who catches your eye first… but give him a chance, and you’ll discover a truly special companion. With gentle patience, some kind words, and a few tasty treats, Lil Sebastian begins to let his walls down. He’ll tiptoe forward, slowly wag his tail, and eventually give in to the warmth of human connection. Once he realizes you’re safe to be around, he blossoms into a total sweetheart — a goofy, tail-wagging cuddlebug who rolls around, leans into pets, and shows you his playful side. Seb doesn’t need much — just a calm, loving environment where he can feel secure. Whether you're interested in fostering or adopting, you’ll be giving him the gift he’s waited so long for: a place where he can truly relax and be himself.
