Meet Ron!This red head is up for anything. He loves being active in a play yard and going on walks. He’s such a good boy and is so excited to leave his kennel that he will sit while you harness him so he can leave sooner.He’s house trained and knows basic commands but is also very leash responsive. He’s a playful engaging guy who would love to be your hiking/adventure buddy. He’s a happy boy who would be even happier in a home.

Story
Trigger is a ball loving, energetic and sweet hearted dog. Unfortunately, we have recently had a baby and are unable to keep up with giving him the attention he needs and deserves. He loves to swim, runs faster than a Cheetah and is very loving. He has been professionally trained for two full months and has refresher courses every couple of months. He has a brother dog who he has been very good with, who is older. He has been gentle around the baby and is great with kids and all ages. Very sensitive to needs such as when you are sick he will comfort you and picks up on peoples energy and moods. We wish we could keep him but feel he would thrive in the right environment where he can run and play with a loving family who are active. I would be happy to send more pictures and videos.

Mello was given to me as a pet at only 6 months old. His DOB is 12-6-23. He plays good with family pets and kids. He barks while walking or outside. He also barks when someone knocks or if you are his owner and someone tries to go to your room.Does not to be in his kennel but will stay there. When excited he does peep on people. Loves running outside at dog park and he loves his chew toys. His only behavior problem is that he barks a lot and understands no but still will barks when you step away. He is more kelpie so needs a back yard. Cannot give him the time he needs due to work and living in an apartment. At the time of getting him, we where in a home with a back yard.

Meet Bella! She is a very sweet 2 year old female Kelpie/GSD mix, and is UTD on shots, spayed, and on monthly heartworm/flea preventative. Bella has undergone successful heartworm treatment and is now heartworm negative! Bella doesn’t do great with small dogs (under 20lbs) but she’s perfect with all other dogs, male and female. Bella is very kid friendly. She is more of a submissive, low key dog, with bursts of energy but 90% of the time wanting to be by your feet laying down sleeping. She does need some work on leash manners and not jumping on guests when they enter the house. Bella does not bark at all. She does whine a bit in her crate at first but quickly stops. She is completely housebroken and crate trained. She’s the sweetest dog who just wants love all day every day and to spend every waking moment by the people she loves. Big and small. Mousey is an adorable dog and will make a perfect family pet! She loves all other dogs and romps and plays all day at the ranch with many other breeds...kind of like a dog park in reverse. She came from a very high-kill shelter in California and had been dumped as a puppy in the hard streets of a high-crime area. She had one friend in the world, Sopita, who was also saved by Dogtown. When she first got to the ranch, she could not be separated from her friend, but she quickly found a hundred other buddies and learned that life can be a good thing after all. Little Lucy was saved being given away in front of a store to just anyone. Luckily our good friend and fellow rescuer at Dogtown Ranch scooped up Little Lucy. All of her littermates died, but thanks to Dogtown, Lucy has survived. She is super gentle and a very calm dog for a little puppy. Harley is a sweet, loyal dog with a fun, energetic personality. He’s crate trained, house trained, and has had professional training, but still needs patience on leash. He’s a herding breed, and while he’s very loving, he can get overstimulated and nip at heels of kids when they are running or knock young kids over when excited. For this reason, he’s not a good fit for a home with young kids. He’s grown up around children and has never shown aggression, but his energy and instincts make playtime too rough for little ones. Harley would do best in a home with adults or older kids who understand dog behavior and can provide him with structure, activity, and love. He’s a great dog who just needs the right environment to thrive.
