Story

Cricket is a confident, independent dog looking for someone to take him on adventures! He's easygoing, walks really nicely on his leash, and knows sit and will do it very patiently for a treat. He's a really smart guy that likes the company of other dogs, enjoys pets, and while he may try to sit in your lap, he's not going to be glued to you. Nope - this boy isn't a stage five clinger at all. He's easy peasy, playful, and curious (but watch out, squirrels!). Cricket really is the whole package and anyone would be lucky to scoop up this uniquely handsome dude. Primary Color: Chocolate Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 60 Age: 2yrs 6mths 2wks

Story

Whataburger Jr. is a tiny, handsome sweetheart who is affectionate, smart, house trained, and already knows sit, stay, crate, and other commands! He has been in foster car for about 3 weeks, which makes him a great candidate for an easy transition into a new home! Jr. has done super well in his potty training, staying by himself with no accidents inside for up to 3-4 hours. His crate training was also incredibly easy, he loves hanging out in there even when I am home. Jr has a calm, easygoing energy for such a young dog and loves checking in with his person. He’s a great leash walker, does not pull nor bark at other dogs. He may need a little patience with strangers, but with people he knows, he is incredibly loving. When I first picked him up, he was very skeptical of me, but within the hour he was already cuddling on my lap! Primary Color: Brown Brindle Weight: 45 Age: 1yrs 1mths 0wks

Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,

Story

Felicia has been welcomed to a foster home that she shares with her caregivers, a dog and a cat. She's very polite to cats, both indoors and outdoors, and her current dog friend is a very cute, small older dog friend. She would probably enjoy a friendly, polite dog she can snuggle and play with.Where people are, you'll find Felicia quietly nearby, just in case there's a call out for a snuggle, she'll be right there. Felicia also seems child friendly. Her personality is gentle, sweet and easy. She walks nicely on a leash and rides well in a car. She's shown herself to be well rounded.Felicia is healthy and comes with a clean bill of health from the shelter and her advocates at ClassicCaninesATX.A common question - why is this dog in a shelter system?Felicia was part of a larger dog crew that lost a longtime home and came to the shelter for safety. Life was not easy for their dog crew. Offering a bridge home by adopting a mature dog from the shelter system is a rewarding experience, for both you and the dog. One that you'll always remember.
