Story
Georgia is a fun, spirited girl with a happy personality and lots of love to give. She has a higher energy level than some of her calmer shelter friends and would thrive in a home that enjoys staying active. Georgia loves getting out for walks, playtime, and exploring her surroundings, and she’s always ready for her next adventure. She’s friendly, affectionate, and enjoys spending time with her people, especially when there’s fun involved. Georgia would do best with adopters who can provide regular exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to burn off her energy—after which she’s more than happy to relax and enjoy companionship. If you’re looking for a lively, loving dog who will keep you moving and bring joy to your days, Georgia could be the perfect addition to your home. 🧡

Story
Lil Sebastian has been in a shelter environment since March 2025, and he’s had a hard time adjusting to life behind kennel doors. He arrived at PAWS in May, and like so many sensitive dogs, he's been quietly trying to cope with the noise, stress, and unpredictability of shelter life. We don’t know what Seb’s life looked like before PAWS — but based on his behavior, we can guess that he hasn’t always been treated with kindness. He’s shy and avoidant at first, preferring to hang back and observe. He may not rush up to greet you, and he likely won't be the dog who catches your eye first… but give him a chance, and you’ll discover a truly special companion. With gentle patience, some kind words, and a few tasty treats, Lil Sebastian begins to let his walls down. He’ll tiptoe forward, slowly wag his tail, and eventually give in to the warmth of human connection. Once he realizes you’re safe to be around, he blossoms into a total sweetheart — a goofy, tail-wagging cuddlebug who rolls around, leans into pets, and shows you his playful side. Seb doesn’t need much — just a calm, loving environment where he can feel secure. Whether you're interested in fostering or adopting, you’ll be giving him the gift he’s waited so long for: a place where he can truly relax and be himself.

Story
Meet Chase! 🐾 Chase is a 9-year-old Blue Heeler with a heart of gold who's searching for someone willing to give him the time and commitment he deserves. Chase needs a patient adopter who understands that some dogs need a little extra time to settle in and show their true selves. Once Chase feels comfortable, you'll discover a sweet, smart, and loyal companion. He enjoys fetch, splashing in the water, car rides, and never turns down an adventure. Whether he's exploring the backyard, going for a walk, digging his next great excavation project, or curling up in your lap for some affection, Chase is happiest spending time with his people. This handsome senior has mastered the basic commands, walks beautifully on leash, and is fully house-trained. Chase would do best as the only pet in a home with adults or older children. He hasn't always been comfortable around other dogs, young children, or elderly individuals, so finding the right environment will be key to his success. The perfect home for Chase is one that will give him patience, consistency, and plenty of time to decompress. In return, you'll gain a devoted best friend who still has so much love left to give. Could you be the person Chase has been waiting for?

Story
Meet Chevy Some dogs walk into your life… and some leave pawprints so deep, you know they were meant for something extraordinary. Chevy is that kind of dog. Chevy is a one-of-a-kind soul currently shining in the Paws in Prison program, where she has captured hearts everywhere she goes. From her inmate trainers to every volunteer lucky enough to spend time with her on a Paws Day Pass adventure, the one thing everyone says is the same: “There’s just something special about Chevy.” And they’re right. Chevy has the kind of presence that makes the world feel softer. She’s loving without being overwhelming, loyal without hesitation, and carries this quiet understanding in her eyes that makes you feel like she’s known you forever. Whether she’s riding peacefully in the car, exploring the world beside you, or curled up dreaming in the back seat after a big day out, Chevy is simply happy being near her people. She has worked incredibly hard in the program learning structure, manners, confidence, and how to thrive in everyday life. But what truly makes Chevy unforgettable isn’t just her training… it’s her heart. She loves deeply. Trusts carefully. And once you’re hers, you’re family. Chevy is searching for more than just a home. She’s searching for her person. The one who sees the magic in her gentle soul and gives her the forever she has been patiently waiting for. Some dogs are adopted. Chevy will be remembered. To learn more about Chevy or apply to adopt, visit Paws in Prison Texas www.pawsinprisontx.org ##2668165##
