Story
This is Murphie! She’s a sweet girl who just needs someone to love and take care of her. She is extremely smart and ready to learn. I’ve done name training, taught her a few commands like: sit, stay, paw, center, come, and we’ve been working on kennel training. We are working on potty training with a potty pad but she’s full of lots of energy and doesn’t always make it to the pad. She is really sweet and loves to just sit with you and cuddle. Murphie was given to me at a community fair event by a woman who had too many puppies in her litter. She is an Australian Kelpie mix (mix unknown). I would love to keep her but unfortunately there is no way around my “no pet” lease agreement. I’m looking for a forever home for her that will give her all the love, time, and attention she deserves. As she gets older she’ll have lots of energy and she’ll need daily exercise. If you live an active outdoorsy lifestyle and have time to be home and present with her I think you’d be a perfect fit for her!

Story
Meet Ube Sweet, Social, and Ready for a Lifetime of Adventures Breed: Australian Kelpie / Border Collie Mix Gender: Female | Age: 09/14/2025 | Weight: 24 lbs Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Kids ✔️ | Cats ✔️ Personality: Happy | Outgoing | Playful | Adventure-Ready Medical: Not Provided Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue coordinates safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality & Breed Information Ube is a happy Australian Kelpie/Border Collie mix weighing approximately 24 pounds. She's an outgoing young girl who's ready for adventure and eager to find a family of her own. Ube is friendly with dogs, cats, and children, giving this social girl the potential to fit into many different family situations. With an Australian Kelpie and Collie mix, Ube may inherit a wonderful combination of intelligence, athleticism, affection, playfulness, curiosity, and enthusiasm. These are dogs that often enjoy having something to do and people to do it with. Ube would love a family willing to provide regular walks, playtime, training, enrichment, and opportunities to safely explore new places. At only one year old, she still has plenty to learn, but that also means her adopter gets the wonderful experience of helping shape the dog she'll become. She's ready for hikes and walks, games and training sessions, lazy afternoons after a busy morning—and all the everyday moments that turn a dog into family. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Ube is still a young dog, and continued training will help her become a confident, well-mannered adult. Rescue dogs may arrive with basic training at best, so her adopter should be prepared to continue working on leash manners, basic commands, recall, household boundaries, calm greetings, and house or crate training if needed. An intelligent, adventurous dog needs both physical activity and mental stimulation, so positive-reinforcement training can become an enjoyable part of everyday life together. The 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to understand her household routine 3 Months to fully settle in, build trust, and feel at home Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Ube's spay, vaccination, and microchip status were not provided. Her future family should review her medical history with their veterinarian and provide routine wellness exams, vaccinations and boosters as recommended, spaying if not already completed, parasite prevention, dental care, quality nutrition, healthy weight management, grooming, regular exercise, and veterinary treatment whenever necessary. Adoption Information Apply to adopt Ube at: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Ozzie and Friends Rescue is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs in need and helping them find safe, loving forever homes. While based in Southern California, we coordinate safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Ube is only one year old, and her whole life is still waiting to happen. She's ready for adventures, playtime, new experiences, and most of all, people she can call her own. Give Ube a lifetime to explore with you, and you'll gain a little adventure partner who's always ready for whatever comes next. September 15, 2026, 10:50 am
