Meet Bronco Dog Friendly Male DOB: 7/14/2023 Weight: 40 lbs Breed: Australian Kelpie  Neutered (Fixed): Yes Vaccines: Up to Date Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Bronco is a friendly, outgoing dog with a wonderful personality and the manners of a true gentleman. He is incredibly social, enjoys meeting new people, gets along well with other dogs, and has a fun-loving spirit that makes him a joy to be around. Whether he's greeting new friends, playing outside, or riding shotgun on your next adventure, Bronco is happiest when he's spending time with his family. One of Bronco's favorite activities is playing fetch. Toss him a ball, and he'll happily chase after it again and again. He also absolutely loves car rides and is always ready to jump in for a road trip, a hike, or even a quick trip around town. His easygoing nature makes him an excellent travel companion. As an Australian Kelpie Mix, Bronco combines the intelligence, athleticism, and eagerness to learn that Kelpies are known for with the loyalty and affectionate nature that make them such devoted companions. Australian Kelpie mixes thrive when they have opportunities to stay active, learn new things, and spend quality time with their people. They are highly trainable, enjoy having a purpose, and respond exceptionally well to positive reinforcement. Bronco would thrive in a home prepared for: Daily exercise and outdoor adventures Plenty of playtime, especially games of fetch Continued positive reinforcement training Mental stimulation and enrichment Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to his emotional and physical well-being With his intelligence, friendly personality, and love for people, Bronco is ready to become a loyal companion who will happily join his family on every adventure, then curl up nearby at the end of the day. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Like many rescue dogs, Bronco may need time to adjust to a new home, routine, and environment. Even well-socialized dogs benefit from patience and consistency during the transition period. Most rescue dogs arrive with varying levels of training, so adopters should be prepared to continue reinforcing household manners and routines. Bronco is intelligent, eager to please, and enjoys learning through positive reinforcement. His social personality and willingness to engage make him a rewarding dog to continue training. Bronco will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Interactive play and mental enrichment Regular exercise and outdoor adventures Patience and consistency Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, love, and consistency, Bronco will continue to blossom into the incredible companion he was meant to be. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, exercise, companionship, and routine veterinary care. Bronco will need: Daily walks and exercise Routine veterinary care and wellness exams Preventative care including flea, tick, and parasite prevention Proper nutrition and weight management Continued training and mental enrichment A safe, stable indoor living environment Consistent veterinary care, daily exercise, emotional support, and companionship are essential to helping Bronco live a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. Bronco is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
We adopted Sarah in March 2026 from a single adult man who was unable to keep her. Sarah is about 2-1/2 to 3 years old, she has a very sweet personality and desires a lot of affection. Sarah is a mix of Australian Kelpie, Australian Shepherd, and Husky. Sarah's previous owner said her vaccinations were updated in February 2026, but we never received any paperwork on it. Sarah has a lot of energy and loves to play. Sarah is great with kids and other dogs, but she likes to push buttons and has a lot of curiosity. Sarah is a very smart dog. Sara is kennel trained but not house trained. Sarah has a lot of anxiety, especially in new environments and changes to her home and routine. We've been giving her anxiety supplements day and night and it seems to help. We are unable to keep Sarah because our family lifestyle is constantly changing and it's made it impossible to provide the stability and attention that Sarah requires for her breed and her separation anxiety.

Story
Hi there! I’m Dusk and I’m ready to be the center of your universe. I’ve been at the shelter since I was just a tiny 6-week-old pup. My brothers and sisters all found their homes, but I’ve been holding out for someone truly special—someone who can keep up with my big brain and even bigger personality! I’m a Kelpie mix, which means I’m basically an Olympic athlete disguised as a dog. I have a lot of fire in my soul and a dominant streak, meaning I know what I want. I can be a little shy when we first meet (a lady has to keep up some mystery, right?), but once I know you’re my person, Its game on. I'd be great to take hiking or for a ride up in the mountains and I am incredibly food motivated. Want to teach me cool tricks? Just bring the snacks and watch how smart I am. I’m currently an intact female over a year old, If you want a brilliant, spicy, loyal best friend, I’m your girl!

Her focus on her owner and desire to be together make her an exceptional companion. Penny thrives on companionship and loves being around her family. She has a gentle nature, enjoys being petted, and will gladly soak up all the love and attention you have to give. Story
Benji: He's cute as a button, and sweeter than honey! Benji is a young dog who is working through his teenage stages, and he would love to get through them in a loving home. This sweet boy still has things to learn about life but he definitely has the smarts to do it! Benji was housetrained in his previous home, and he's an amazing walking companion. He still has some puppy energy in him and would love to get it out with enrichment like kong toys, snuffle mats, or scent games. Benji has also spent some time in staff members offices and they said he's a silly boy who loved playing with his toys before settling down with a chew toy. He is a delight to walk with and loves a sniffy walk, he would be a great hiking buddy! Benji is currently available for adoption from his foster home. Contact our Adoptions team at 801-261-2919 ext 227 for more information and to set up a meet and greet! Benji's adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, inital set of vaccines, and a bag of goodies to get him started in his new home.
