Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Huntsville, AL Meet Vigo! He is an 7 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 57 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Vigo is good around older children! No younger children, farm animals, cats, or dogs, due to his reactivity! Vigo bit the owner’s 8 month old child. Their nanny was watching her and they told them to not let her get close to Vigo. However, she crawled onto his bed while he was laying down and he bit her on the face. The owner is surrendering him because of his aggression towards their baby. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Vigo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Vigo. Owner’s Contact Information: Audrey at audreycsmith256@gmail.com

Story
Meet Brier Brier is a stunning blue-eyed Mini/Toy Australian Shepherd weighing around 18 pounds—and yes, she knows she’s beautiful. But beyond her striking looks is a smart, funny, energetic little soul who truly shines when she’s in the right environment. Brier is looking for a new home because she has struggled with one particular male figure in her current household. While she generally tends to prefer women, she does have a special male person she absolutely adores—so with patience, respect, and the right energy, she can form strong bonds. Because she can be a bit selective about her people, a meet-and-greet and possibly a short trial period would be ideal to ensure a perfect match for everyone. This pretty princess gets along well with cats and seems to do better with male dogs, though she may be happiest as the only spoiled pup in the home where she can soak up all the love and attention. Brier is incredibly intelligent and thrives when she has mental and physical outlets—she needs activity, engagement, and a chance to use that busy Aussie brain. Training, games, structured play, or even a job to do would make her heart sing. Brier is loving, loyal, and full of personality. In the right home—one that understands her sensitivity, values her intelligence, and is willing to let the relationship grow at her pace—she will be a devoted and joyful companion. If you’re looking for a beautiful, clever little dog who wants more than just a couch to sit on, Brier may be your girl. ##2616062##

Story
Meet Natasha, a breathtaking Merle Aussie mix whose gentle spirit shines brighter every single day. 💛 When Natasha first arrived, she was heartbreakingly thin, her body showing the toll of many litters and far too little care. But even then—beneath the fear and uncertainty—there was a softness in her eyes, a quiet hope that someone might finally choose her. Natasha is still learning that the world can be kind. She can be shy when meeting new people, but with patience, a calm voice, and a little time, she blossoms into the sweetest, most tender-hearted girl. Once she trusts you, she leans in softly, as if saying “thank you” with her whole being. One thing that has helped Natasha immensely is the companionship of another dog. She LOVES having a canine friend by her side—someone to show her the ropes, help her feel safe, and remind her that joy is allowed. Natasha is coming out of her shell more each day, but she’ll need a secure, fenced yard in her forever home as she continues to build confidence and rediscover the world at her own pace. If you’re looking for a dog whose gratitude and love run deep… a dog who will bond with you in the most meaningful, heart-tugging way… a dog who just needs a chance to finally be someone’s beloved girl… Natasha is waiting. She has survived so much—now she just needs someone to show her what it means to truly live. 🩵
