If we do not receive a timely response we simply move on to another applicant. And please wait for our response as we schedule appointments to meet our pets.   Pet info, adoption cost/detail information below: PET DESCRIPTION:  Cain is a male, two-years-old, just taking a guess at perhaps being an Aussie/Bulldog mix.  He is really like a fluffy Bulldog!  About 60 lbs.  Handsome as can be and just a lover!  Perhaps best with a female dog partner than a male.  Came to us as a stray never reclaimed.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch (and we register the chip at time of the adoption); certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter). Deaf Dogs Rock!!! The amazing love, attention, loyalty and rewards far exceed the special care and needs they have. If you have a heart for the special needs and want to be rewarded 10,000 times beyond, consider adopting this precious boy. Derek is about 9ish months old and 45ish lbs but he may grow a tad more. He came from a very small rural shelter where his chances of getting out safely were slim. He LOVES to play with other dogs, lives for attention and scratches from his human, and is 110% typical velcro aussie. He needs someone that is willing to work patiently with him to learn hand signals so he better understands how to please you (that's all he wants to do). He is learning house training but has not yet mastered it (he is close - it's the excited piddles that get him). He must have a securely fenced in yard (non negotiable) and another playmate would be great. His human needs to have the time to spend with him to train him while he is still young, so he is an even more perfect adult aussie. As an aussie, he has energy and needs to be able to run and play.
