Story
Meet Natasha, a breathtaking Merle Aussie mix whose gentle spirit shines brighter every single day. 💛 When Natasha first arrived, she was heartbreakingly thin, her body showing the toll of many litters and far too little care. But even then—beneath the fear and uncertainty—there was a softness in her eyes, a quiet hope that someone might finally choose her. Natasha is still learning that the world can be kind. She can be shy when meeting new people, but with patience, a calm voice, and a little time, she blossoms into the sweetest, most tender-hearted girl. Once she trusts you, she leans in softly, as if saying “thank you” with her whole being. One thing that has helped Natasha immensely is the companionship of another dog. She LOVES having a canine friend by her side—someone to show her the ropes, help her feel safe, and remind her that joy is allowed. Natasha is coming out of her shell more each day, but she’ll need a secure, fenced yard in her forever home as she continues to build confidence and rediscover the world at her own pace. If you’re looking for a dog whose gratitude and love run deep… a dog who will bond with you in the most meaningful, heart-tugging way… a dog who just needs a chance to finally be someone’s beloved girl… Natasha is waiting. She has survived so much—now she just needs someone to show her what it means to truly live. 🩵

Meet Pancake — the life of the pawty and your soon-to-be favorite chaos muffin! 🥞🎉 This fun-loving, energy-filled Aussie mix is basically a walking double espresso. He’s always ready for an adventure, whether that’s hiking a trail, learning new tricks, or zooming laps around your living room at 7 a.m. for no apparent reason. Pancake is eager to learn, eager to love, and eager to investigate whatever snack you’re holding. With his handsome tri-color coat and that adorable curly tail (which has its own personality, honestly), he’s a total showstopper. He’s ready to flip into his forever home—are you ready for a fluffy pancake in your life? 🥞💛

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Huntsville, AL Meet Vigo! He is an 7 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 57 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Vigo is good around older children! No younger children, farm animals, cats, or dogs, due to his reactivity! Vigo bit the owner’s 8 month old child. Their nanny was watching her and they told them to not let her get close to Vigo. However, she crawled onto his bed while he was laying down and he bit her on the face. The owner is surrendering him because of his aggression towards their baby. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Vigo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Vigo. Owner’s Contact Information: Audrey at audreycsmith256@gmail.com

Story
✨ Meet Tootie — Your New Snuggle Companion! ✨ Tootie is a gentle, affectionate 7–8-year-old Australian Shepherd who is ready to curl up right next to her forever family. Weighing in at a perfectly huggable 45–50 lbs, this sweet girl is all about cozy moments and quiet companionship. Despite her breed, Tootie is a low-energy sweetheart who’s far more interested in snuggles and squeaky toys than long hikes or high-intensity adventures. She’s wonderfully house-trained and even uses a dog door like a pro. One of Tootie’s superpowers? She gets along with everyone. She’s great with dogs, cats, chickens, and other farm animals — truly a peaceful soul who blends effortlessly into any home environment. If you’re looking for a loving, mellow companion who will reward you with soft eyes, warm cuddles, and a heart full of loyalty, Tootie is your girl. She’d be a lovely fit for just about any home, from a quiet household to a family looking for a gentle, well-mannered pup. Tootie is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and anyone interested in adopting her will need to be able to travel here to meet her.

Story
Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is only about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is completely healed from that. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. If you are interested in Marmaduke, please fill out an application at our website: forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and could be available for transport but transport fees are on top of the adoption fee.

Story
Flapjack is a lovable, gentle pup who has made huge progress since becoming a pawliday foster dog. What started as a shy, unsure boy has blossomed into a happy, affectionate dog who loves people, kids and other dogs. He is very sweet and gentle, dog friendly and kid friendly (all ages!). He loves running around the yard and playing, especially with tennis balls. After playtime, Flapjack settles down nicely and naps like a champ. Flapjack walks well on a leash, has no accidents in the house, and loves being outside and would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard. He is not a fan of crates. He chewed on a few things early on, but he learns quickly and can easily be redirected. Flapjack finds the vacuum cleaner a bit scary, but he’s gaining confidence every day. Flapjack would do wonderfully with a dog companion. Even living with a senior dog who wasn’t interested in playing helped him learn routines like going outside and eating. Having another dog around boosted his confidence tremendously. He's also very respectful of other dogs' boundaries. When another dog signals they’re uncomfortable, he backs off right away, but he is very playful with dogs who enjoy playing. Flapjack also adores kids and loves running around with them. He’s gentle, patient and respectful. Anyone would be lucky to have him!

Meet Slick — the big, fluffy heartthrob who knows he’s gorgeous and uses that power daily. 😎✨ Slick is basically the Fabio of the dog world: luscious floof, confident walk, and a slow-motion strut that happens whether there’s wind or not. He’s a certified ladies’ man, charming every girl dog (and most humans) with a single wag of his magnificent tail. This handsome hunk loves a good yard where he can run, play, and show off his model-level zoomies. He’s also a big fan of hanging with his dog friends… as long as they understand he’s the main character. If you’re looking for a big fluffy boy with confidence, charisma, and runway-ready attitude, Slick is your guy. 💁‍♂️🐾
