Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Huntsville, AL Meet Vigo! He is an 7 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 57 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Vigo is good around older children! No younger children, farm animals, cats, or dogs, due to his reactivity! Vigo bit the owner’s 8 month old child. Their nanny was watching her and they told them to not let her get close to Vigo. However, she crawled onto his bed while he was laying down and he bit her on the face. The owner is surrendering him because of his aggression towards their baby. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Vigo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Vigo. Owner’s Contact Information: Audrey at audreycsmith256@gmail.com

Story
Willow just turned a year old on May 5th. She's got a lot of energy and loves attention. She is house broken and loves kids. She just needs more time and definitely more space than what we can offer her. She is shy at first around new people but can't get enough attention once she knows you. She hasn't been fixed but we could pay the expense if necessary. She will make a wonderful companion for any family.

Meet Effie – A Brilliant, Playful Sweetheart Ready to Steal Your Heart! Effie is a stunning Border Collie mix with a beautiful black-and-white coat, soulful eyes, and a personality that will win you over in seconds. At her core, Effie is whip-smart — a true testament to her Border Collie heritage. She picks up new tricks with ease, understands routines quickly, and thrives in an environment where her mind is engaged and her heart is loved. That said, Effie isn’t just brains — she’s got a spunky side, too! A playful pup through and through, Effie loves a good game of fetch, zoomies in the yard, and interactive toys that challenge her. She’ll gladly take you on outdoor adventures, then curl up beside you afterward for a well-earned cuddle. She’s the perfect balance of active and affectionate. Like many intelligent dogs, Effie can be a little stubborn at times — but who isn’t, when they know what they want? Her independent streak just adds to her charm. With a patient, confident adopter who understands the needs of a smart, high-energy breed, Effie will thrive and form a strong, loyal bond. Effie is looking for a home that will keep her mentally and physically stimulated. She’d love an adopter who’s active, maybe even into dog sports, hiking, or just lots of fetch in the backyard. She would do best with someone who appreciates her smarts and is ready to guide her with consistency, kindness, and lots of positive reinforcement. Whether you’re looking for a loyal hiking buddy, a future agility star, or simply a clever and loving companion, Effie could be your perfect match. Are you ready to meet your new best friend? Effie’s waiting to meet you — and she’s already dreaming of all the fun you’ll have together.
