Story
We got Clara 8 months ago and found out early that she is deaf. She is very smart and adaptable, about 90% house-trained and knows several hand signals like sit, kennel, recall (when she’s looking), and in/out motions. She’s still learning no, a swiping motion across. We have an underground fence, and she is used to it. Clara has a lot of energy and lives with our two other dogs. Our older large dog will correct her, but the other won’t, which has led to problems. Clara plays very rough and often bites at our other dog’s mouth and heels until they bleed. Despite our efforts, the lack of correction from the second dog is making things harder on our dogs. Clara is scheduled to be spayed this month. She is a good dog, but she needs a structured home that can manage her energy and training in a way that is fair to all pets.

Story
She is a Miniature so she will only grow to be 40 to 50 lbs. She is 5 months old. Smart, sweet, and curious but very low key. We need good homes for her and her 3 brothers who are also Black Tri. All born at the same time. We already have several and were not expecting this last litter as we had our male fixed but apparently she got pregnant prior and we did not know.

UPDATE!&#226&#156&#168 Meet Odie! This sweet boy was saved from a local overcrowded shelter. He will get settled into foster care tomorrow and we will update his pics and info as we get it.  He’s a gorgeous Aussie mix. He’s around 10-12 weeks and 10 lbs. He’s spunky and sweet. Great with all people and animals. He will be a medium sized adult. He will be ready soon after second vaccines and he’s neutered.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Story
UPDATE!! Meet Kujo! This boy came to us from our local county shelter. He’s an adorable Aussie mix. He’s around 2 years and 35 lbs. He was a little timid at the shelter when he first arrived but has turned into a total lovebug at his foster home. He’s still a little timid in new situations but does open up quick.. He has settled into foster care and is doing wonderful. He loves cuddles and is good on a leash. He just needs a little patience while adjusting. He’s utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and neutered.
