Story
Tina is an absolute sweetheart! Very social and easy going! She entered the shelter 4/5/24 and was born 7/3/23. She is medium sized and weighs about 35lbs. Despite being very young she has a gentle composure that would be great around kids or someone who is looking for a dog who knows how to play gently. Many dogs her age have a rambunctious energy that is difficult to handle but this trait skipped Tina. She is easy to walk, understands commands, and lives to please her owner. She is an Australian Shepard mix which is apparent during training sessions because her intelligence is very high. With treats and petting sessions as a motivator there is very little a diligent owner couldn't teach Tina. Anyone who meets her is 100% guaranteed to fall in love!HSPC's adoption fee is currently reduced from $100 to $75 unless stated otherwise within the pet's description. Every pet that is available for adoption has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including heartworm preventative (canines). Adopters are required to schedule a wellness exam with their veterinarian at their cost within 7 days of adoption. We are currently closed to the public and we will only respond to inquiries accompanying an application submitted through warmhearts.org/adopt.

CooperAustralian Shepherd/Spaniel mix2 yrs old/Male24-D120Intake: May 7, 2024Meet Cooper, he is approximately 2 yrs old and definitely a looker. They have him as an Australian Shepherd mixed with some type of Spaniel, or maybe some type of Spaniel mixed with Australian Shepherd. Whatever kind of mixture, this boy is as handsome as all get out. The looks, that smile, and as sweet as he is, we don’t think Cooper will be looking for a new family long. He will need to meet all family members, including resident dogs to make sure everyone gets along before going home. Cooper will be neutered, utd on vaccines including rabies and will be microchipped. If you are interested in meeting this guy pet viewing hours are Monday-Friday, Noon-7pm and Saturday, Noon-4pm.

Story
Kiki and Kitsune, named after the animals we resembled when we were saved. Kiki after a coyote name, I mean... look at my ears :) And Kitsune is a fox name, I looked like a little fox when I was saved!! Us girls are sweet and loving and happy with people we know, but you can't blame us for being nervous with new people- we were found abandoned in a field in the deep valley of TX with our dead mother and siblings in a trash bag with us........................ So yes, we are nervous with new people but honestly- new people are only new for a day or two- then you are OUR peeps!! We do not have to be adopted together, but our story is the same so we will share it together... We came to the rescue absolutely petrified but geez, our foster mama was so nice and fed us wonderful food and we were loving on her quickly. So glad to be safe, fed and loved! Now we are preparing for our families and that must be you! We are both gorgeous girls, Kitsune has grown to almost her sister's size, so both are looking to be large full grown pups. Local adoption only so they can meet your families and you can get to know them too! ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! SO MANY LIVES DEPEND ON IT!! Local adoption is $250 each (in TX)

Was a rescue dog we had for a long time but when bringing in another dog for my special needs child, he has become upset and they do not get along. He has gone to boarding services without issue but he has behavior issues with this dog. Super sweet and likes to play with people. Hate to rehome but my child needs their support dog.
