Story
Tina is an absolute sweetheart! Very social and easy going! She entered the shelter 4/5/24 and was born 7/3/23. She is medium sized and weighs about 35lbs. Despite being very young she has a gentle composure that would be great around kids or someone who is looking for a dog who knows how to play gently. Many dogs her age have a rambunctious energy that is difficult to handle but this trait skipped Tina. She is easy to walk, understands commands, and lives to please her owner. She is an Australian Shepard mix which is apparent during training sessions because her intelligence is very high. With treats and petting sessions as a motivator there is very little a diligent owner couldn't teach Tina. Anyone who meets her is 100% guaranteed to fall in love!HSPC's adoption fee is currently reduced from $100 to $75 unless stated otherwise within the pet's description. Every pet that is available for adoption has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including heartworm preventative (canines). Adopters are required to schedule a wellness exam with their veterinarian at their cost within 7 days of adoption. We are currently closed to the public and we will only respond to inquiries accompanying an application submitted through warmhearts.org/adopt.

Story
Kiki and Kitsune, named after the animals we resembled when we were saved. Kiki after a coyote name, I mean... look at my ears :) And Kitsune is a fox name, I looked like a little fox when I was saved!! Us girls are sweet and loving and happy with people we know, but you can't blame us for being nervous with new people- we were found abandoned in a field in the deep valley of TX with our dead mother and siblings in a trash bag with us........................ So yes, we are nervous with new people but honestly- new people are only new for a day or two- then you are OUR peeps!! We do not have to be adopted together, but our story is the same so we will share it together... We came to the rescue absolutely petrified but geez, our foster mama was so nice and fed us wonderful food and we were loving on her quickly. So glad to be safe, fed and loved! Now we are preparing for our families and that must be you! We are both gorgeous girls, Kitsune has grown to almost her sister's size, so both are looking to be large full grown pups. Local adoption only so they can meet your families and you can get to know them too! ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! SO MANY LIVES DEPEND ON IT!! Local adoption is $250 each (in TX)

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Maumelle, AR Meet Tucker! He is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 70 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Tucker is good with kids! He is also good with smaller dogs, but can be possessive of his food and toys when he is around larger dogs. He hasn’t been tested around cats. Tucker has bitten the owner’s wife several times. This has occurred whenever she tells him to do something he doesn’t want to do, or he is in a heightened state. One of these examples occurred when she tried to take a look at a hot spot on his back. She reached down to touch it, so he growled and bit her. The owner is surrendering him because of these bite incidents. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Tucker, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Tucker. Owner’s Contact Information: Jon-Austen at ljonausten@gmail.com.
