Story
Meet your new little sidekick! Peet’s Sweets is estimated at nine weeks old, this chunky ball of fluff is the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and laid-back charm. His beautiful tricolored coat and laid-back personality makes us suspect he may be an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix, but with rescue puppies there’s always a little mystery in the breed department—which just adds to the fun of watching them grow! See Peets and his adorable siblings in their puppy video here: https://youtu.be/fZEoHQnsjXk?si=Ry37Xp4kRrnGHJLp He’s a curious little explorer who enjoys checking out the world around him, but he’s also surprisingly easygoing for such a young pup. After some playtime and puppy adventures, he’s happiest when he can curl up and snuggle with his siblings for a cozy nap. At this perfect puppy age, he’s ready to learn all the good things—training, routines, and how to be the very best companion. His adaptable personality makes him a wonderful candidate for a variety of homes that are ready for the joy (and fun!) of raising a puppy. Peets is still very young and will need a family committed to the time, training, and socialization that puppyhood requires. Puppies are discovering the world day by day, and those early experiences play a big role in shaping their personalities and confidence as they grow. Establishing routine, structure, boundaries, and positive socialization from the start is incredibly important. We require adoptive families to commit to crate training beginning as soon as their new puppy arrives home. Crate training helps support potty training, teaches healthy rest and energy management, and plays an important role in raising a well-balanced, confident adult dog. If you’re looking for a fluffy little best friend to grow up with your family, this sweet boy might just be your perfect match. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Apply today! Story
Meet Anna — 35 pounds of soft-hearted survivor energy. What kind of dog is Anna? Shepherd mix? Maybe. Possibly. Probably. Honestly… who really knows in rescue. What we do know is that she is 35 lbs of gentle, cuddly, slightly quirky perfection who has already lived more life than most dogs ever should — and she came out the other side unbelievably sweet. Anna originally came from a large-scale hoarding situation with free-roaming dogs. Because of that, the world can feel a little big and scary sometimes. She’s a shy girl at first, but once she decides you’re safe? Game over. You now own certified Velcro cuddle bug who believes couches, beds, and dog beds exist solely for group snuggling. Anna’s story has one very important chapter that her future family needs to respect: When she was adopted from a shelter previously, she was let loose on day one. Anna then survived 80 days on her own before finally being brought back to safety. Somewhere during that time she broke her leg, which healed on its own before we got her. She’s doing great now — but because of that experience, Anna can never be off leash or left unattended outside. Ever. Non-negotiable. Think of her as an adventure buddy with a very strict leash policy. To keep her safe, Anna will go home with her Fi tracking collar (adopters must maintain the yearly subscription) and she wears a no-slip harness like the responsible little survivor she is. Now for the fun stuff: Anna would absolutely thrive in a home with one or more dogs. Other dogs help her feel safe and confident, and she’s happiest when she has canine friends around. She’s also potty trained and does okay being left home alone for a few hours at a time with dog buddies — crates/confinement are not really her thing. She loves hiking and exploring outside, but in classic Anna fashion she sometimes dramatically hits the brakes on the way back downhill like, “Actually… I live here now. This mountain is my home.” When she’s not adventuring, Anna is a professional nap enthusiast. Bed? Couch? Dog bed? Sun patch on the floor? Perfect. She will happily snooze most of the day and then reappear for cuddles like a cozy little woodland creature. Anna isn’t your average plug-and-play dog. She’s softer than that. Deeper than that. She needs: • A secure, patient home • People who understand that safety management matters • Humans who appreciate the quiet joy of earning a shy dog’s trust What you get in return is something really special — a dog who has survived a lot, loves deeply, and just wants a safe place to land for good this time. Anna doesn’t need perfection. She just needs her people. If you think you might be the soft landing this sweet girl deserves, come meet Anna. She’s ready to finally exhale. 🐾

Tobi is a very energetic dog. He does love attention and getting scratched. He lets you know when he needs to go out. He loves to play and run in the yard. He loves his chew sticks and biscuits. He is also territorial, he is a pretty good guard dog. He doesn’t like strangers coming into our property which is a comfort at night
