Story
Bristol is a loyal pal. We have owned her since she was 9 weeks old. She has been in a home filled teens and my grandchildren. She has been raised with another Australian Shepherd (male) and they were the best of friends. Bristol assumes the Alpha role in the family. She can be assertive over her toys and property. She is house trained, crate trained, leash trained and knows basic commands. We've had to make the difficult decision to rehome her due to job changes for my husband and myself that require us to travel regularly. We are looking for someone who is familiar with the breed or who has the time to give Bristol the proper exercise and mental stimulation that Aussies need. She is a wonderful loyal companion who is protective over her family. Bristol will need a home where she gets plenty of attention and exercise. I recommend a home that doesn't have small children. Though she has grown up with my grandchildren, she does tend to get stressed if there is too much activity.

Story
Here’s a warm, honest, and adoptable-friendly profile you can use for rehoming Dutch: ⸻ Meet Dutch Dutch is a well-trained, affectionate dog who loves nothing more than cuddling with his people. He’s great on walks and hikes, has excellent leash manners, and enjoys getting outside to explore. Dutch has been raised around kids and is wonderful with them—gentle, patient, and always ready for play or snuggles. He’s a loving, loyal companion who thrives on being part of a family’s daily life. Why We’re Rehoming Him This is a very difficult decision for us. Due to a recent job change, we are now required to travel most of the week and can no longer give Dutch the consistent time and companionship he deserves. Dutch will make an amazing addition to a family who can give him the time, activity, and affection he is used to. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy and a world-class cuddler, Dutch is the perfect dog for you!

Story
Ladies and Gentleman start your engines" Indie is here! This is one fun, active and loving dog! First thing that comes to mind when I think of Indie, is The Indianapolis 500. She is fast, has lots of fun power and is loyal to her sponsor/family. Indie just came back to us through no fault of her own. Sadly, her parents have been juggling work schedules and could not make it work. Indie has a wonderful temperament, a loyal, SMART and sweet blend of Cattle Dog and Australian Shephard. She's learned several commands and tricks. She would be ideal for an active, attentive family with a fenced yard. (Only reviewing applications with fenced yards) Indie can be "dog selective" so bring your dog.. Did I mention she's an Internet sensation in Dalton? Many have seen her cruising around downtown in the infamous Red Convertible and eating at local eateries. This gal fits in everywhere and loves having a side kick.Come meet our "Winner"; she will steal your heart! To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Story
Fetty is an affectionate and intelligent Australian Shepherd/Goldendoodle mix looking for his forever home. He’s full of personality — loving, energetic, and playful — and enjoys nothing more than going for walks, playing outside, and spending time with his people. He’s house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to any home. Fetty thrives on attention and enjoys being part of family life. He’s up to date on all vaccinations and in great health. When he was a newborn, his mom attempted to eat him which resulted in some wounds to his face which he recovered from. Sadly, we are relocating and won’t have the space he deserves in our new home. This has been a very difficult decision, as he’s truly a wonderful dog. We’re hoping to find him a loving family who can give him the time, affection, and exercise he needs to stay happy and healthy. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will brighten your days and bring endless love and joy, Fetty is waiting to meet you!
