Story
Malibu is a Valentine's Day pup! If you follow our Facebook page, you may have seen her story. She was horribly neglected then turned out by her previous owners. A good Samaritan took her in and he kept her safe until we could help her out. She's been to the vet and we are giving her all the love we can. She is a Australian kelpie shepherd mix that was born February 14, 2023. She will be a medium dog when full grown. She weighs 31 pounds now. She needs to be in a home where she can be spoiled. She's had a rough start and deserves all the love and kisses! A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for play, exploring and the confidence to complete her housetraining. To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Story
Beautiful purebred miniature Australian shepherd with tons of personality and energy. Looking for a new owner who can provide a better life for him. He needs a nice big enclosed yard to let out his endless energy and excitement. He is a very loving dog to those he trusts. However, he does tend to be a bit possessive and territorial. House trained, does tricks and listens to basic commands. Very intelligent good boy.

Story
Born May 23, 2023, Latte is an awesome blend of Australian Shepard & Chesapeake Bay Retriever, weighing approximately 43 lbs and already housetrained. Our volunteers love on her as much as possible, however, we see she's missing a family to call her own. She gets along with other dogs, not sure about cats though, but happy to check for you. She's a very happy, playful and loving gal. Latte, would be perfect for a family that enjoys outdoor activities and fun adventures. Did I mention, she is already an internet sensation in Dalton. She's been seen dining at a few of Dalton's favorite eateries; Dalton Brewery, Baja Coop and Cold Creek. Of course she heads to DQ for dessert, for the best Pup Cup around. Always traveling in style in the infamous red convertible. This is one special pup...A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for this active, playful and inquisitive pup. Don't miss the opportunity to meet her.. you'll kick yourself in the end.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Story
River is an almost 3yr old full bred Australian Shepherd. He has been professionally trained and knows all the commands. He walks on a leash well and does well in public places. He is e-collar trained and responds very well to it. He is fully house and crate trained. He is good with our baby. He is not good with cats. He has a very big bark and barks often. He does need constant supervision. He struggles with remaining calm and can often get overwhelmed with unfamiliar people. He is extremely high energy and would be considered a super chewer. He is very much a people person (familiar people only) but has a difficult time being calm enough to be petted. He needs a high energy family who can support his need for structure and exercise. A fenced area would definitely be preferred.
