Story
A LOVELY YOUNG DOG: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 33 lbs. Hi there, I’m Valentina! I’m a darling young dog who somehow found myself at animal control, and I’m so grateful to be in the Mostly Mutts family now.  I got to spend some time in a wonderful foster home for about a week and am back at the MM shelter now.  I’m loving my time with the wonderful volunteers and can’t wait to meet the family who will call me their own!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I played nicely and wanted to cuddle with a 7-year-old female dog in a temporary foster home so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:   My temporary foster family and the shelter volunteers say that I’m very playful, smart, and sweet.  Not to sound conceited, but people also say that I have beautiful eyes and fur.  I seem to know my boundaries in the home, do great around people, and am a loyal, wonderful companion.  I truly thrive on being with people and love staying connected to them. I’m an active, friendly girl with a bright mind and a big heart. / Energy level: 6-8, so I’d like to be active with my new family. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program and look forward to learning a lot with my trainer!  In my temp. foster home I showed that I was familiar with the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’,  and ‘down’ commands.  I also walked pretty well on my leash.  I’ll be tested on these commands soon.  / I didn’t need a crate in my temp. foster home and I’m doing pretty well in it at Mostly Mutts though it’s not my favorite place to hang out and I do come out of it quickly. / I did well with my potty manners in my temp. foster home, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too.  • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love my stuffed toys, going for walks, playing with frisbees and tennis balls, and spending time with people . . . and I know we’ll find plenty of new favorite activities to enjoy together once I’m home with you. / I was pretty nervous during my first shelter bath, so we did a foam bath.  I hope to be better with those soon. Like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a wonderful young dog looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by furever. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  February 9, 2026, 7:49 am

Story
Bella is a sweet girl! Her owner could no longer take care of her and her best friend Ginger. They arrived to the shelter on 12/3. Bella is 4 years old and weighs in at 45 pounds. She truly is a lady and is great on a leash. She knows to sit when asked and takes her treats gently. Her and Ginger are bonded and do not leave each other's side. It is reported that she is dog friendly. Bella and Ginger sure could use a home. Would you give them a chance? Ask for ID# 15447 Run 853. She will be spayed soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. She has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Story
Meet Ginger! This sweet, loving girl is ready to find her forever home, and she can’t wait to share all her love with you. Ginger is a total pro when it comes to car rides—she loves to go on adventures and is calm and well-behaved in the car. She also walks beautifully on a leash, making her an ideal companion for strolls around the neighborhood. Ginger is a gentle soul who prefers the company of bigger dogs. They make her feel more secure and help her feel at ease. She can get a little overwhelmed with all the dogs in boarding, so what she really needs is a loving, quiet home where she can decompress and feel safe. Once she settles in, she’ll be your loyal, sweet companion who will shower you with affection. If you’re looking for a calm, loving girl who would thrive in a peaceful home with a bigger dog friend, Ginger is the one for you. She’ll be forever grateful for a family who understands her need for space and quiet while giving her the love and care she deserves. Could you be the one to give Ginger her happy ending?

Story
Meet Gatsby, Daisy’s devoted partner-in-crime and the other half of this irresistible bonded duo! 🎩🐕 Gatsby has a playful sparkle in his green-gold eyes and a personality as intriguing as his lineage. Is he part Australian Shepherd? Part Border Collie? A little of both—or something delightfully unexpected? Even his foster mom isn’t sure, and honestly, that mystery just adds to his charm. What is certain is that Gatsby is absolutely stunning. He has a beautiful feathered coat in a soft, silvery taupe coloring that shimmers in the light. His look is perfectly finished with a white throat and chest, dainty white markings on his toes, and the most adorable large oval feet—a classic nod to his herding breed ancestry. Speaking of herding instincts… Gatsby loves to gently and playfully nip at heels to guide his foster mom where he thinks she should go—because obviously, Gatsby knows best. 😉 It’s all done in good fun and with plenty of enthusiasm, making him endlessly entertaining and full of character. At just over 1-year-old, Gatsby is full of energetic joy. He is fun-loving, smart, and engaged, always tuned in to what’s happening around him. He especially loves sharing adventures with his best girl, Daisy. These two are truly inseparable—whether they’re running, playing, or relaxing side by side, they’re happiest together. As a bonded pair, Gatsby and Daisy are looking for a home that will welcome them both and celebrate their special connection. If you’re ready for double the love, double the beauty, and a dynamic duo that will keep life joyful and active, Gatsby (and Daisy!) are ready to steal your heart. 💛🐶🐺 Personality traits Affectionate, Curious, Friendly, Playful, Loves

Story
Fetty is an affectionate and intelligent Australian Shepherd/Goldendoodle mix looking for his forever home. He’s full of personality — loving, energetic, and playful — and enjoys nothing more than going for walks, playing outside, and spending time with his people. He’s house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to any home. Fetty thrives on attention and enjoys being part of family life. He’s up to date on all vaccinations and in great health. (He also comes with a crate and a months supply of food!) Sadly, we are relocating and won’t have the space he deserves in our new home. This has been a very difficult decision, as he’s truly a wonderful dog. We’re hoping to find him a loving family who can give him the time, affection, and exercise he needs to stay happy and healthy. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will brighten your days and bring endless love and joy, Fetty is waiting to meet you!
