Story
Marley is a DNA tested Australian Shepherd American Staffordshire terrier mix with an estimated birthday of February 8th 2024. She came to the Mission when her prior family was no longer able to take care of her. Marley is crate trained, leash trained, and rides fine in the car. She is somewhat socially awkward but good with other dogs, and to safe with children who can take a little bit of bumping around. She has an adorable stub tail and a lot of energy and athletic ability. She would love a family who wants to keep her included in the day to day activities of life and take her to do fun things like hiking and biking.  Marley comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormd. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes her leash, collar, ID tag, harness, a sample of the food she has been eating and her medical records. To be considered to adopt comma please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application. Thank you for checking out our girl.  ##2572652##

Story
Meet Jelly Bean, a sweet, goofy Aussie mix who happens to be deaf and is learning the world in his own special way. He loves walks, working for treats, and is already picking up simple hand signals. Like many herding breeds, Jelly Bean sometimes “guides” his people by lightly nipping at ankles—especially during quick turns or sudden direction changes. It’s not aggression, just instinct. Treats and clear cues help him refocus beautifully. He would do best in an adults-only home or with people experienced with herding breeds. Please give treats only in his kennel—he gets a little pushy when he wants more snacks! Jelly Bean is good with other dogs, and while we have no history with kids or cats, he’s been a gentle, eager-to-learn boy here. He came to us as an owner surrender after his family realized they couldn’t meet his needs, and he’s been waiting since 8/27/25 for someone who understands him. If you’re patient, kind, and excited to keep teaching hand signals, Jelly Bean will be the most loyal, loving companion.

Story
Spot is a playful, smart, energetic puppy. He loves playing fetch up and down the hallway with his bouncy balls. He is enjoying the snow and will play outside happily as long as we will let him. He loves long walks and runs, and would benefit from a few walks a day. He enjoys chewing balls, ropes and bones. He is still learning not to chew things that aren't his. He listens to "leave it" and "drop it" commands pretty well, when you are diligent about watching him closely. Spot loves being playful with other dogs and kids. He would do better in a home with older kids as his size, energy level, and young age can be overpowering for little ones. He is still learning that the kids are not the same as puppies, and he would do well with kids that can take control and command him a little more. He has had several doggy playdates and time at doggy daycare and been with all sorts of breeds, sizes and ages. He has done great with all of them, and I think would thrive in a home with other dogs.
