Sami is a 4 year old beagle mix that weighs about 55 pounds. She has been with dogs and cats in her foster home and does well around both. She has lots of energy and is ready to play, but does have fear-based anxiety. Daily medication is required to keep it under control. As are all EARS dogs, Sami is spayed and microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and is on monthly preventatives for heartworm and flea/tick.If interested in welcoming Sami into your family, please submit an adoption application via our website, www.effinghamanimalrescue.com.

I rescued river from A shelter weighed 4 lb now weighs 71. He will be 2 years old Feb 8, 2026. a really good dog beautiful! Unfortunately I had a reoccurrence of breast cancer at the hospital alot Now found out my husband has prostate cancer we are not able to give River the attention he deserves. He’s spoiled used to being warm in the winter cool in the summer. I put picture of him laying under fan because he loves his fan in the summer. hard to describe what we have set up for him but it’s very nice even though he’s not in the house. I will take pictures send to whoever is interested so you can see his area could be in house likes both. I wish my circumstances were different I hate to see him go I want to make sure it’s someone that loves animals and will be good to him not fair to him now I don’t think this is a good life he needs more attention. With a heavy heart this was a hard decision. I hope he gets a great home.
