Hi, I'm Abby! I have been at the shelter for a while now and really want to find my forever home. I am an Aussie/ heeler mix and have the personality to match. I will fit best with somebody who is willing to invest in dog training and has experience with herding dogs. If you give me a little time to learn what you want from me, I know I will make you happy. I prefer a human with an active lifestyle and want a fenced yard to run in to keep me physically active. Since I'm a very intelligent dog, I would love to have my brain challenged! I would prefer a home without other animals or children. I have some arthritis in my hips and the vet has found a protocol that keeps me comfortable. I’m under 4years old as much as I love my friends here I really would LOVE a foster or forever home that can help me along- I have had a hard time training due to being deaf and some people just don’t understand me:( I would require a new parent to be very understanding and knowledgeable regarding hearing impaired pets or willing to work with me. I have been returned a few times due to my mouth getting me into trouble:( But, I know my forever home is out there!!! Molly is a beautiful and sweet natured gal. She has a quiet demeanor. Shes lived her live on a farm and is primarily an outside dog. She is NOT housebroken. She is good being in a crate if needed. We are unable to keep her no fault of her own. I could see her best in a home that's not too loud and people that just want a sweet dog around. A fenced area is best, though not mandatory. She doesn't roam, and has a good recall. She is not neutered, but certainly can be. Molly is 9 years old, aprox 45# is healthy and I would expect her to live into her teens. Meet Naylene, just like her name, she is one of a kind! This 9-year-old Australian Shepherd mix may be a senior, but do not let that fool you, this girl can run! Sweet, playful, and full of energy, Naylene still has plenty of pep in her step and a big love for stuffed toys (she carries them around like treasures!). She is new to the shelter, so we’re still getting to know her, but one thing is for sure , she has already stolen our hearts.

Vega is an Australian Shepard Border Collie mix. She’s very loyal and loving to her people. Best to be homed with no other pets- dogs, cats, chickens. She is true to her breed, high energy and spunky. If you are looking for a trusting companion that won’t leave your side. You’ve found your dog. She is fully house trained and crate trained. Even off leash she won’t stray far from home and always comes back. The only reason she needs to be rehomed is due to her herding nature- she’s a herding dog without a job. Therefore she takes on people as her flock. We tried bringing her into a house with a dog and outdoor chickens, it’s just not working out. She’s a little sweetheart one on one.

Hi! My name is Miley. I’m a very sweet, one year old girl. Not much is known about my previous history besides being from Kentucky. I am doing great with my foster family; they have young kids, a female dog and a male cat. I love belly rubs and being near my people. I love to lay my head in your lap and snuggle on the couch. I am eager to please, especially for cheese! I’m learning basic commands and fully crate trained at night. I’m still learning to walk on a leash without pulling but I am fully potty trained!  Are you my forever home? Tommy is a one yr old Border collie mix that was adopted from a Texas rescue. He went to a house with 2 littles under 4 and he turned out to be too much puppy for the family. He is a very active puppy (this is natural to his breed) and that is where we came in as fosters. He would do great with kids 8 and older due to his size and playful nature. He gets along with cats but sometimes his herding nature takes over and he will chase them. He does not hurt them just enjoys a good chase. We have 2 cats and a small dog in the house. Tommy enjoys tearing up a good stuffy toy but does not chew on anything else. He is totally potty trained and does well in a crate, although I have never used it with him. He has been with us about a month so I would love for him to find his furever home before he gets to attached here. He will come with a harness and leashes and a few extras. He has a years' worth of flea protection as well.
