Story
Ozzy is a little shy when you first meet him, but he's still curious too. Once he knows you are safe, he is your best friend. He walks like a dream on a leash, house trained, and is such a happy guy. He loves to play with the other dogs, and would love a family that won't give up on him. Ozzy was brought to us by a good samaritan that had been feeding him for months gaining his trust. It turns out Ozzy was adopted out from another shelter, for unknown reasons he found himself without a home or family for months, in a town he did not know, with no way to get back to any place he knew. Ozzy is so sweet and kind. He would love a home of his own, furever. Interested in adopting? - Loves people and activity and likes to be at the center of whatever's going on - A super snuggler who loves attention and always wants to be by your side; if he feels too much time has passed without cuddles, he'll definitely remind you! - Knows sit and loves treats- Has been to a local farmers market and other events, and has done well with kids, other dogs and strangers; wasn't bothered by the crowded environments - Spent time in a foster home and did well free roaming when his family wasn't home - Was potty trained in his foster home with no accidents, but they said he can get excited and dribble a bit when you first come home after a long day - Was known to escape his crate in a previous home and may benefit from continued crate-training in his new home - Does well traveling but may want to sit on your lap - Enjoys spending time with dogs who have a similar play style All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 35 Age: 8yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Nebula, a truly beautiful dog. While her past holds some hardship – she was found living on the streets with her seven puppies – her spirit shines through. Nebula is a sweet and beautiful girl, possessing a gentle nature that will blossom with the right amount of patience and understanding. Nebula's intelligence is evident in her quick grasp of commands. She's already house-trained and crate-trained, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt. She enjoys walks immensely, exhibiting a calm and easy-going temperament. What Nebula truly desires is a loving home where she can finally feel safe and secure. While her street life has made her initially cautious around new people, once she builds trust, her playful puppy-like energy resurfaces. It's a beautiful transformation to witness. We believe Nebula would thrive in a quiet and patient home, ideally with someone experienced in working with dogs who have experienced trauma. With the right care, she'll become the most loyal and loving companion imaginable. If you're interested in learning more about Nebula and potentially offering her a loving forever home, please don't hesitate to contact us. $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

Story
Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)
