Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Max is a very nice and loving dog. He loves to be around people and plays with my children and other pets with no issues what-so-ever. He runs the back yard around our chickens and does not harm them. So, he is great with other animals (including our cat). He is crate trained but does not run free in the house. So, he will most likely need a bit of work here. The main reason we are looking for a new home for him is that he needs a farm and animals to be around. He is a herding dog and does an amazing job at this. If you have a farm or a very large dog with other animals, Max would be great for your family!

Mousse is 9 months old. He is extremely affectionate, high energy, and intelligent. We are unable to keep him because he resources guards food and we have a small dog. Otherwise, he is eager to please and the absolute sweetest and smartest pup. Loves to play, snuggle, and go on any kind of outdoor adventure. Because of his resource guarding, he needs to go to a home with no other dogs. His ideal home would be somewhere with active people, no dogs, and no kids/older kids.

Meet Luna, our beautiful 3 year old female Australian Shepherd. We originally purchased her from Shipshewana, Indiana, and she flew in on a plane to join our family in Florida. Now that we’re living in Iowa, we’re hoping to find the perfect new home for her where she can continue to thrive. Luna is a loyal, energetic, and intelligent girl with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. She enjoys being active, going on walks, and playing with toys but she also loves to snuggle and relax with her people. She’s great with kids and does well with other animals once she gets to know them, Not sure about cats We’re looking for a home where Luna will get plenty of attention, stimulation, and space to run preferably with a fenced yard or an active family who can match her energy and give her the love she deserves.
