Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! Billy is the sweetest smartest boy ever. He is so good at learning new tricks and I think he just really needs a job to keep him occupied - he is a working dog so something to keep him mentally stimulated. We lived out in the country when we got him but we recently moved into town. He hasn’t adjusted well to the move unfortunately. He was used to being outside and being able to run and blow off steam and now he’s confined to a fenced in yard. He gets bored and starts barking. He gets overly excited when we go outside, barking and jumping around. He calms down after a little bit but it is overwhelming at first. Between the fenced in yard and just a lack of time to spend with him, I just think he deserves a better home with people that will have the time and space to keep him happy and fulfilled.

This is Theo! Also known as Theodore and Freak-O-Dore. He is a very smart 6.5 year old Aussie! We are having to re-home him due to his energy levels and lack of personal awareness. We are having our 3rd baby, and after the stress we went through with him jumping over our son while he was a newborn, we decided it would be better for him to find a home where he can be himself. He does have some stranger danger and fear aggression. He will require a lot of patience and someone who is knowledgeable in dealing with dogs like this. Once he warms up to you, he is a major cuddle bug and will stick to you like glue. He currently lives with kids, a smaller dog, and 2 cats however I think it may be best if he did not have cats or young children in his new home.

Meet Ruxin! We are looking for the right home for our 6-year-old Australian Shepherd mix. Ruxin is such a good boy — He loves playing frisbee and being involved in whatever you’re doing. He’s very intelligent, listens well, and has so much love to give. That being said, Ruxin is a nervous guy. He gets anxious around young children and has had some reactive responses with our toddler and with another baby soon to be mobile as well, we had to make the decision to find him a safer home. Ruxin would do best in a home with older children or no children where he can feel safe, comfortable, and less anxious. Once he warms up to you, he is the sweetest boy. Ruxin would love to be the king of the castle AKA a solo dog. He has no experience with cats so unknown there. He is neutered, housebroken, good on leash (although will bark if nervous), crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, and does take Apoquel for allergies.

Jace is a 6 1/2yr old Border Collie-Heeler mix who is a sweet, snuggly, happy, energetic, incredibly intelligent and sensitive guy. He does well with most dogs but has some toy and food guarding. He is fully house trained, uses a doggy door to go outside and has free run of the house. He has anxiety in a kennel and loud noises scare him, he hides. Loves car rides, will play ball, stick or frisbee all day. Excellent recall off leash. He loves activity but also a warm bed to sleep in. Jace is healthy and would be a great hiking, biking, agitity, sports partner. Best in a home with older children as young children's movement can be unpredictable. Jace likes people and is super friendly. Must be an inside dog that has access to outdoors. He does okay with most dogs but would prefer a single dog household.Jace recently went to a 3 week board and train program where he learned how to better calm his energetic emotions. Reason for rehoming is that he does not get along with our other dog.
