Story
Meet Baron! 🐾 Baron is a remarkable young pup, just 1 year old and weighing 45 lbs, who’s ready to find his forever family. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Baron previously tested positive for a tick-borne disease but has since been fully treated. With a heart as big as the ocean, Baron is a true water dog—he loves cooling off by lounging in a doggy pool on warm days. He’s well-mannered, house-trained, and kennel-trained, making him an easy addition to the right home. Baron gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and having a canine companion in the household is actually preferred, as he opens up more quickly when he has another dog to bond with. Baron can be a bit shy at first, especially around men, and may take a few days to feel comfortable. A patient, understanding family will help him blossom into the loving companion he’s meant to be. Because of his gentle and reserved nature, we recommend a home with a fenced-in yard and older children who understand boundaries. While Baron isn’t overly active, he enjoys relaxing around the house, exploring the yard, and going on regular walks—he walks beautifully on a leash. Sweet, loyal, and full of potential, Baron is ready to grow and thrive with a family who will give him the time and love he deserves. Could you be the one Baron has been waiting for? Take the first step toward a lifetime of love and companionship by giving Baron the forever home he deserves. 💙 I'm being fostered in La Feria, TX but can be transported to any midwestern or northeastern state. Adoption fee is $500. Please apply to adopt here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ASHT/Dog

Story
Rehoming Australian shepherd male 3 years old. Great dog. Listens and trained well. MUST go to someone who is able to give him emotional and physical attention and exercise several times EVERY DAY. He currently gets a half hour walk, and half hour fetch 4 out of 7 days, as well as 3 hours at dog park twice a month. MUST PROVIDE HIM MORE TIME THAN THIS. He is extremely needy- more than your average aussie. If you do not, he WILL act out and be bad, whine all day, etc. He needs to be the center of your world. He is extremely energetic, smart, and loyal. Would do great on a farm, is wonderful with kids of all ages, and all other animals including livestock. No health issues, vaccinated, fixed. Rehoming due to lack of sufficient time to give him. It breaks my heart to let him go but he needs more attention that I am able to give him. Must go to the right home! He currently has 7 unfenced acres and has free range. He wanders off but stays close.

Story
Meet Isa!  She is a sweet 4 yo aussie/german shepherd mix who would love to be your abiding companion. She is sweet, gentle, yet can get the zoomies with the best of them! She is smart!  has learned new tricks and is eager to please. She was with her person for all 4 years but she has taken a job in Hawaii and was unable to take Isa with her. Isa loves to go for walks (she's great at loose leash walking!) and has played with other dogs but prefers to be the only dog in the home; who needs another dog when you have all Isa's love and adoration?! She is up on all her shots, responds to basic commands, and rides okay in the car. She's medium in size, weighing 45#.  She is a graduate of Reigning Dog Board and Train.   ##2692793##

Story
Meet Diezel 🐾⚡, a fun-loving, high-energy boy who’s always ready for his next adventure! This handsome pup is full of life and would thrive in a home that can keep both his body and mind busy. Whether it’s hiking, playing fetch, learning new tricks, or enjoying interactive toys, Diezel is happiest when he has a “job” to do or plenty of enrichment activities to keep him engaged. Because of his energetic nature, Diezel would do best in a home with older children who can match his enthusiasm and help channel his playful spirit in positive ways. The good news? He gets along well with cats, making him a great addition to a multi-pet household. If you’re looking for a loyal, active companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your days with excitement, Diezel might just be your perfect match! - Around 7 years old - Currently under 50lbs - Good with cats and dogs - Would do better with older kids as he is very high energy - Adoption fee: $175 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. Story
We’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome our two Australian Shepherds, Max and Cooper. They are brothers, best friends, they are 5 years old .After welcoming our newborn, we learned that our baby has significant allergies. We explored every option. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, it’s become clear that keeping Max and Cooper in our home isn’t safe for our child. This decision has nothing to do with them. They are loving, loyal, energetic, and everything you could ever want in dogs. Our only comfort is knowing that the right home is out there for them—ideally together—where they’ll get the attention, space, and love they deserve. If you’ve ever had to make a decision like this, you know it’s not made lightly. We ask for understanding, compassion, and help in sharing their story so they can land somewhere truly special.
