Please be aware we do not hold dogs until an appointment to meet them is scheduled.     Very sweet, smart gentle male Aussie mix Approximate DOB 3/1/2020 – About 65 lbs Dexter is an awesome boy who is housetrained, crate trained and well behaved. He loves hiking but at the end of the day cuddling with his loved ones. He is good with other dogs however he has had a few run ins with large male dogs attacking him so isn't a fan of them but loves female dogs and small dogs. He does not like cats so a cat free home would be best.  Neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations - Adoption fee $150 We do welcome out-of-state adoptions. Send an email to request the application or you can download it from the main site www.almosthomenm.org and email it to adopt@almosthomenm.org Dogs are seen by appointment only after an application has been submitted and approved. If you have other dogs it is recommended you bring them out to the meeting but not required.  Steps for adoption: Read bio, email to request application or download it from the main website, fill it out completely and email it back, once approved you will receive an email asking you when you would like to come out to meet the pet, schedule an appointment, directions will be emailed or text to you. Adoption fees are cash only.   If you would like to provide snacks for Miss Vegas while she waits for her happily ever after we would truly appreciate it. Story
Wrangler is a 9 to 10 months old pup, was found at the reservation. He's potty train, but he does get excited and scared which he leaks. Loves attention, cuddles and rough house. We have him on large breeds puppy by Science Hill. He gets along with our cat and kids. We did notice its takes some few meeting till he finally understands that your safe. He knows tricks like sit, lay, shake, high five, touch, and waits for food, his release word okay. He loves his outdoor patio, watching the people and dogs. We're not sure with dogs, he kinda got along with but was bullied. Hes a sweet little one, unfortunately we're not able to care for him long term due to money. We really wish him for a great home and family.
