Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. How to Adopt This Sweet Special Needs Aussie boy is patiently waiting for special home. Snoopy is deaf, so he needs a home that can help him learn sign language and basic skills. He is only 7 months old and weighs about 30 pounds. He will sit for you, sleeps well in a crate for 5-6 hours. He uses the doggie door politely with the other dogs. Snoopy currently lives with 6 other dogs and is doing well with all but the cranky senior. He is just too much for the senior and since he doesn’t hear, it is more difficult for our senior boy to give an appropriate response without getting too upset. Snoopy needs a calmer home. He plays very well with the smaller dog his size and they do Aussie Play for hours. He likes balls and benebones. Snoopy is neutered and up to date on shots and has 5 months of heartworm preventative. He must go to a most wonderful home, so we will need references. Please call Shirley at 575-491-9577 if you are interested. We will try to watch for comments, however, a message, text or call would be best.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 16, 2025, 11:54 am

Cash is a happy-go-lucky boy who will always put a smile on your face! He is a sweet, good-natured dog who wants to be everybody's friend. He has gotten along very well with other dogs here and would love to have a dog friend in his new home! This goofy, affectionate boy is always up for adventures and then a good cuddle session afterward! He loves to play, whether that be in a wrestling match with a dog buddy or a good game of tug. He has shown that he does well when being left home alone. He is smart, already knows "sit" and "down" and is eager to learn more. He will make you so happy - just come in and see for yourself how amazing Cash is! A team member adds, "Cash is a perfect office mate! He mostly chews on his rawhide and naps but will come up and gently seek affection every so often. He is going to make someone very lucky!"

Story
🎾Remy🎾 Remy has been through an eight week training course. He knows sit, down, stay (although that one is hard for him!), and he walks nicely on a leash. He has great manners when out of the house and loves everyone he meets. He is young and playful so would enjoy another playful dog companion. Remy is ok with cats but does like to play with them so they may not like him. He occasionally has accidents in the house, but is pretty good about going outside. I’ve taught him how to ring a bell when he wants to go outside and he does, but he also uses it as a tug of war toy. He would thrive in an active family who loves the outdoors. He is definitely a sweet natured boy who will make a great addition to any family
