MEET RITA     Hi! I’m Rita - a 1.5-year-old Australian Shepherd with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. I’m what you’d call a velcro dog — I’ll probably follow you around everywhere you go, even the bathroom!    I'm pretty shy at first so I do need slower introductions but my foster mom says I’m SUPER smart and really easy to train. I still need a bit more training, so I hope my forever family can help me with that!    Here are some more things about me: -Potty-trained AND crate-trained -58 pounds -I already know many commands like sit, stay, bed -I don’t bark a lot, only if I’m super excited! -Not food motivated -I would love a big yard with lots of room to run -Dog friendly, I live with 3 dog siblings    Because I’m an Aussie, I do have strong herding instincts. I may try to herd by circling or nipping, especially when I’m excited or unsure. Structure, exercise, and mental stimulation are a must for me!    I would do best in a home with active people who love to go on adventures! If that sounds like you, I might be your girl ##2630652##

Yoshi is very leary of men, he needs several introductions to new men in his life to know he can trust them. Most women he meets he makes up with after a short time, some he likes immediately. He was treated roughly by a small child and father. He will not be adopted out to a family with children as that would not be fair to the children or Yoshi. Active and likes to play. Very smart. Loves attention from those that he trusts. He gets along with all of us here at Orphans even the men, but he needed time to get to know you. NEEDS AN ADOPTER WITH AUSSIE EXPERIENCE AND FENCED IN YARD. Bite History: Prior history to coming to us. And bite history with us. PA 1137
