She is a very friendly, extroverted dog who loves to interact with people and receive loving human attention. She loves people so much that she also has some separation anxiety and does not like to be away from her best friends. Chloe is very energetic and strong on a leash and would definitely benefit from some consistent training and behavior work. She would also do best in a home without any cats. Yoshi is very leary of men, he needs several introductions to new men in his life to know he can trust them. Most women he meets he makes up with after a short time, some he likes immediately. He was treated roughly by a small child and father. He will not be adopted out to a family with children as that would not be fair to the children or Yoshi. Active and likes to play. Very smart. Loves attention from those that he trusts. He gets along with all of us here at Orphans even the men, but he needed time to get to know you. Story
Sam is a sweet and loving dog who needs an experienced owner to give him a safe home. Sam has been with us since he was a puppy and he’s an incredibly smart and high energy dog. Unfortunately, he has some behavioral problems and struggles with reactivity and anxiety. He has been through extensive behavioral training and has come a long way. But, we are expecting our first child, and unfortunately Sam’s behavior can be unpredictable. He has bitten a handful of times in his life, when he was afraid or stressed. It has not happened often, and he has never caused significant injury to the person. However, with a baby on the way, we can’t risk his behaviors in our home. We are heartbroken to rehome him, because Sam is such a beautiful dog and he can be so incredibly sweet. We know there is a home out there for him where he can continue to grow and be safe. He just needs an experienced owner who can give him lots of love and activity.

Story
Meet Bingo, a seven year old red tri Aussie who finds himself in need of a new home through no fault of his own. Bingo is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is not in the ARPH program; we are screening homes for the owner. Bingo is a friendly boy that loves fetching, either balls or Frisbees, and will bring them back. The evaluator referred to him as “a very nice dog”. Bingo would be best with a female canine companion rather than a male, and no cats. He was raised with children who are now ages 9 and 10, but he might be a bit too exuberant for younger ones. He's a sturdy 65 pounds, so restricted food intake and an exercise plan would be in order. He rides well in a crate in a car and is well-behaved at the vet's. Bingo has not lived inside so is not housetrained. But it shouldn't take much to do that; adult dogs normally housetrain much faster and easier because they are physically capable of holding it. He walks well on leash and knows sit but would benefit from further training. He's very smart and willing to learn. This sweet boy has a lot of potential and would love to be your new best friend. He will be very devoted to his person. Denny boy was brought into our rescue after being shot three times, and Found along a road in Irvona PA. he was found with another dog that was shot and was deceased on scene. we found the owner of the dog which was Amish and the dog was surrendered to Animals Matter and hospitalized at Metzger animal Hospital due to being in shock Shot three times and having the right leg amputated ##2032721##
