Chloe is a beautiful 5-year-old Australian Shepherd/Hound mix who is excited to meet her new human companions! She is a very friendly, extroverted dog who loves to interact with people and receive loving human attention. She loves people so much that she also has some separation anxiety and does not like to be away from her best friends. Chloe is very energetic and strong on a leash and would definitely benefit from some consistent training and behavior work. She would also do best in a home without any cats. Story

Sam is a sweet and loving dog who needs an experienced owner to give him a safe home. Sam has been with us since he was a puppy and he’s an incredibly smart and high energy dog. Unfortunately, he has some behavioral problems and struggles with reactivity and anxiety. He has been through extensive behavioral training and has come a long way. But, we are expecting our first child, and unfortunately Sam’s behavior can be unpredictable. He has bitten a handful of times in his life, when he was afraid or stressed. It has not happened often, and he has never caused significant injury to the person. However, with a baby on the way, we can’t risk his behaviors in our home. We are heartbroken to rehome him, because Sam is such a beautiful dog and he can be so incredibly sweet. We know there is a home out there for him where he can continue to grow and be safe. He just needs an experienced owner who can give him lots of love and activity.

Meet Bingo, a seven year old red tri Aussie who finds himself in need of a new home through no fault of his own. Bingo is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is not in the ARPH program; we are screening homes for the owner. Bingo is a friendly boy that loves fetching, either balls or Frisbees, and will bring them back. The evaluator referred to him as “a very nice dog”. Bingo would be best with a female canine companion rather than a male, and no cats. He was raised with children who are now ages 9 and 10, but he might be a bit too exuberant for younger ones. He's a sturdy 65 pounds, so restricted food intake and an exercise plan would be in order. He rides well in a crate in a car and is well-behaved at the vet's. Bingo has not lived inside so is not housetrained. But it shouldn't take much to do that; adult dogs normally housetrain much faster and easier because they are physically capable of holding it. He walks well on leash and knows sit but would benefit from further training. He's very smart and willing to learn. This sweet boy has a lot of potential and would love to be your new best friend. He will be very devoted to his person. I'm Zuri and I'm just as sweet as I am pretty! My mom was an Aussie mix, and I'm likely to stay small/medium sized. My paws are tiny. I'm not sure how my ears are going to end up as they do different stuff every day! My favorite thing to do is cuddle, and I will plead with my big beautiful brown eyes until you pick me up. I love all dogs and play well with all sizes. I'm very intelligent and figure things out pretty quickly. I'm working on my potty training but for now I'm using pee pads with amazing accuracy!
