Meet Kylo. Fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome. Transport to the northeast or Great Lakes may be available for additional fee. Kylo is being returned to us at the rescue because his owner is experiencing some life changes with his job that will not allow him to keep Kylo with his new transfer with his job. He wants to do what is best for Kylo because he will no longer have a yard and will be working excessive hours without being able to give Kylo what he needs and provide him with a happy life. Kylo is great with kids, other dogs and is just energetic and super playful. He appears to have herding instincts and is nippy with heels and will try to herd kids around but he’s not hurting or biting them he’s just keeping them in order lol. Hes only 40 lbs a year old and so adorable. He needs a family that understands the needs of the herding breeds and can provide lots of mental stimulation and exercise. He is crate trained, house trained and is current on vaccines and has been on preventives for heartworms and fleas and ticks. He is also microchipped. Please apply for Kylo at petpath.org

Meet Cleo-Aussie/ cattle dog and Doodle Mix Cleo has very unique and beautiful markings. She is very sweet and high energy and is incredibly smart and food motivated so easy to teach. Cleo likes the water but hasn’t been swimming yet. She loves other dogs but is nervous and likes to hide behind a human at first but she is quick to warm up. Cleo is potty trained, crate trained, and knows how to use a pet door. She’s a little mischievous and needs supervision. Cleo is a submissive personality and would do well with another dog in the home. She likes adults and kids and has had some exposure to cats. Meet Cooper, a 6 year old year old (born October 26, 2019) Australian Shepherd Mix (mom was full Aussie, dad is unknown). He is good with kids and female dogs. Unsure if he is good with male dogs or cats. He needs to be rehomed due to another dog not getting along with him anymore. He is a high energy dog so he would need someone/a family with an active lifestyle. He can do basic command and is house trained. He is a little special when it comes to vet appointments though. He has to be administered drugs to calm him and even then, it’s still a struggle as he is good at putting up a fight when he knows a needle is coming at him. He’s not a barker but will bark at plastic bags floating down the street and anyone on a bike/scooter/skateboard.
