Story
Miss Molly Mae is ready to find her forever home. Molly is a beautiful 6 1/2 year old red tri Australian Shepherd with a full tail. She is being fostered in Soddy Daisy, TN. Molly found herself in need of a new home due to her previous owner's declining health. It was a very hard decision for him but he knew that it was in Molly's best interest. ASF was contacted and immediately stepped up for Molly. Unfortunately, once Molly came into rescue, it was determined that she was heartworm positive. A treatment plan was set into place and she has now completed her treatment and has a clean bill of health. Yay Molly! Molly is a very laid back girl and the ideal home for her would be one very similar to what she had with her previous owner... quiet and comforting. She is content spending her days right at home. A fenced in yard and a porch are definitely a plus! She enjoys roaming around the yard watching the wildlife and then will lay on the porch taking it all in. While inside, she will lay in her bed (or on the couch if allowed) next to you and be perfectly happy! She is totally fine being an only dog, but would also be ok with another laid back furry friend. She is such a good girl and so eager to please. Molly is spayed, current on all vaccinations, on heartworm prevention and microchipped. Story
Meet Kylo. Fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome. Transport to the northeast or Great Lakes may be available for additional fee. Kylo is being returned to us at the rescue because his owner is experiencing some life changes with his job that will not allow him to keep Kylo with his new transfer with his job. He wants to do what is best for Kylo because he will no longer have a yard and will be working excessive hours without being able to give Kylo what he needs and provide him with a happy life. Kylo is great with kids, other dogs and is just energetic and super playful. He appears to have herding instincts and is nippy with heels and will try to herd kids around but he’s not hurting or biting them he’s just keeping them in order lol. Hes only 40 lbs a year old and so adorable. He needs a family that understands the needs of the herding breeds and can provide lots of mental stimulation and exercise. He is crate trained, house trained and is current on vaccines and has been on preventives for heartworms and fleas and ticks. He is also microchipped. Please apply for Kylo at petpath.org
