This beauty was born to a momma who is an owned pet with a loving family, but was never fixed. His owner can no longer care for him which is sad for BJ but great for you! BJ is a bomb proof guy who does not meet a stranger. It's like Olive Garden: You're family to him! He's looking forward to showing you what a bestie can do: 1. His large size means he'll give you the biggest hug on every difficult day. If you're going through a divorce or just missed your flight because you went to the wrong gate, BJ will be there to comfort you. In fact, you can use his miles to get a new flight to Aruba! 2. Whether he's zooming around a yard, hiking, or going on beach trips, BJ will be a great dog for a family that enjoys the outdoors (or at least has a yard he can play in). BJ also loves other dogs so play dates are definitely in order. Isn't that great? After months of moping at home over all your misfortune, you'll finally have an excuse to leave the house and enjoy a beautiful day with your best friend! 3. BJ's the best boy because he does not soil his kennel and is ready to find a cozy spot in your home. He's also been practicing crate training and potty training and has been doing a stellar job at both! He also has experience riding in a 4-wheeler with his foster! Talk about a cool dude! 4. When he's indoors, BJ enjoys loving on his family and hanging out with them, especially those Sunday afternoon days of doing absolutely nothing. He also loves children of all ages, yes, even your rambunctious toddler! In fact, he'll probably potty train them for you! (Just be sure to pay him in treats. That kind of work is not free.) If you want someone to snuggle with while it’s storming out, Willow is your girl. She absolutely hates storms and loves to use them as an excuse to be wrapped in a hug. Willow is gentle natured, but still has a ton of energy so she loves going on long walks. She usually will pull at the beginning of a walk because she’s so excited but then she’ll calm down and walk next to us the rest of the time. She has great recall and listens to commands well. Willow also loves meeting new people and would do great in a home with kids or other gentle natured animals (aggressive breeds make her anxious). Willow’s parents were both show dogs and she came from a small breeder where we used to live.

Louie is a large, sweet, shy boy. He came in as a stray from Jamestown. He entered the rescue as a dog who tried to hide in the corner. Now he waits for a volunteer to hook him up to a leash for walks. He is great on leash. He has warmed up to the volunteers at the rescue. Still a bit nervous, but very interested in other dogs. He will require a patient person to continue to bring out his personality. Being a stray, we don't know if he is housetrained or crate trained. The pictures that you see are to give you an idea of what he would look like with Louie. He is waiting for that special person.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Lucy needs more exercise than we can provide at our age and in our fenced yard. The ideal owner can let Lucy outside the door to run freely. She always finds her way home when she gets out. Her curled tail and long spine suggests she's also part sight hound like Basenji. We adopted Lucy from Monroe County shelter. She was rescued in the woods. There are indications that she was farel/abused/neglected. Her special needs are well worth managing for the joy and love she gives in return! Lucy sleeps a lot. She is very gentle and affectionate with people. She lives to chase squirrels and rabbits. She loves to run! When we brought home a puppy, they became inseparable and get along great! She is crated trained. We taught her some commands too. She loves being outdoors, even in the hot sun. She sometimes messes indoors. When bored, she chews things within reach. She has growled at exactly two dogs. She seemed afraid. She is an escape artist fro our fenced yard, even to unlatch the gate.
