Miss Molly Mae is ready to find her forever home. Molly is a beautiful 6 1/2 year old red tri Australian Shepherd with a full tail. She is being fostered in Soddy Daisy, TN. Molly found herself in need of a new home due to her previous owner's declining health. It was a very hard decision for him but he knew that it was in Molly's best interest. ASF was contacted and immediately stepped up for Molly. Unfortunately, once Molly came into rescue, it was determined that she was heartworm positive. A treatment plan was set into place and she has now completed her treatment and has a clean bill of health. Yay Molly! Molly is a very laid back girl and the ideal home for her would be one very similar to what she had with her previous owner... quiet and comforting. She is content spending her days right at home. A fenced in yard and a porch are definitely a plus! She enjoys roaming around the yard watching the wildlife and then will lay on the porch taking it all in. While inside, she will lay in her bed (or on the couch if allowed) next to you and be perfectly happy! She is totally fine being an only dog, but would also be ok with another laid back furry friend. She is such a good girl and so eager to please. Molly is spayed, current on all vaccinations, on heartworm prevention and microchipped. His dad cried saying goodbye, and it broke my heart. 💔 This sweet boy needs just a few minutes to warm up to new people, then he’s all love. 😊 However he is still very protective of his home, so I would recommend crating when guests are around. He’s 1–2 years old, 15–20 pounds, and reminds us of a small Australian Shepherd mix. He’s been great with the dogs and cats he’s met here and would love a fenced yard and a furry friend in his new home. 🐶🐱 He needs an adult home ONLY.
