Story
Remi is a brown and white miniature Australian shepherd, about six months old, and she is an absolute treasure. She's quiet, already housebroken, and genuinely sweet with people. She carries a little shyness with her, which is entirely earned given what she's been through, but it fades warmly once she feels safe. Underneath it is a friendly, gentle spirit just waiting to unfold. Mini Aussies are known for being bright, loyal, and deeply bonded to their families, and Remi is shaping up to be all of those things. We do want to be upfront with potential adopters: the word "mini" can be a little misleading. Remi is already showing clear working dog tendencies, with the intelligence, energy, and instincts that come with the breed. She is not a lapdog, and she will not be content as one. She needs mental stimulation, physical activity, and a family who will engage with her, not just cuddle her. Remi will do best in a patient household. We also require that her new home include another physically able dog who can keep up with her and give her an outlet for play. Experience with Australian shepherds or similarly driven herding breeds is strongly preferred, as Remi will thrive most with someone who understands how her mind works.

Story
Mariah is a 3yo AKC certified gorgeous Aussie who is sweet, playful and intelligent. She loves to play with other dogs and loves to play fetch. My late husband and I bought her from as a 4 month old pup from a verified breeder. My late husband was her primary person and caretaker as he worked from home and was able to give her a lot of love and attention. He passed away in 2024. I work full time away from home and she has been in daycare most of that time. I would love for her to have the best of both worlds, another dog/dogs she can play with and a family, where she gets loving attention and even learns cool tricks because she is a smart girl and wants a job. She has never hurt or bitten anyone or destroyed any possessions or furniture. As a 10-month old she had two seizures, had a full work-up by the vet where no cause was found and has been on Keppra since then and they have never occurred since. Her medication costs $25/month. Otherwise, no other health or dietary issues.

Story
Pyro is a very active, sweet dogs. He’s a purebreed Mini Aussie. It’s very hard for me to write to put him up for rehoming. When I brought him into our family, we see him as a family member. But my work schedule is busier and my son is about to leave to colleges in August, and he’s a very active dog and we don’t have much times to provide him at out best. Pyro’s love cuddle and lives to play catch. He loves to go to a park where there aren’t much people to run freely. He’s a little picky when it comes to food and he’s a very shy when it comes to stranger and other dogs. He’s just turn 1 in Feb,2026 and he’s up to date vaccination. He’s not neutered yet. I really want pyro to go to a family that willing to spend times and effort, and he’s not the type of dog that get along with other people right away. It takes time for him to trust and comfortable around other. Pyro would prefer a family who wants to spend times and had a big backyard where he could run or wants to walk him daily.

Hank is a wonderful loving dog. He used to be a working dog but has been a inside pet for the past year or so. Would be ideal if he could be a working dog again but would also thrive in a loving, active environment.

Story
For sweet Heidi, nothing beats a game of fetch and a snuggle. This young gal loves to sprint around and chase tennis balls - all that's missing is you to cuddle up with! "Heidi is very affectionate and likes to please," says one of her fosters. "She learns quickly and loves to kiss and snuggle!" - Heidi is very inquisitive and likes to sniff and investigate everything she sees. - Her favorite treats are rawhide chip snacks, and all she asks is that you have plenty of those on hand! - Leash-walking is new for Heidi, and she's quickly picking up the skills. She knows heel, sit, come and stay, plus she is fully crate- and house-trained. This quiet, easy-going girl would love to move in with parents who can give her that petting and cuddling she loves and continue her training. Come offer her some snuggles and she'll follow you home!
