Bronx was adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) on April 23, 2023. He was 11 weeks old and weighed 9.20 lbs. and presumed to be a Border Collie Mix but staff was unsure what he was mixed with. Since his adoption he has completed the required Puppy Training course provided by HSSV while also receiving continued training by his family. Bronx is potty trained, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc..) but could benefit from more extensive and regular training and strong leadership from pack leader or family. Bronx loves to run, fetch and socialize with other dogs and people. He has been trained to be both on and off leash and responds to commands when off leash; but keep in mind he's still a puppy and sometimes gets distracted and may need commands repeated. Bronx also can get a little over excited when it comes to meeting other dogs and people and may jump on them or at them to greet them. BRONX IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA.

He would be a perfect pet for a woman who wants a guard or a family with kids. He doesn’t like to ride in cars. Because he has always been an inside dog he’s not one that likes to go on walks. He goes out and uses the bathroom and comes back in. He’s always slept in his master’s bed, but he also is kennel trained. He is going to be fearful at first due to his loss. He’s still wondering what has happened . He’s wonderful with children. He plays on the trampoline with kids. He loved the grandkids the nephews and kids . He does excellent with female dogs, but not really make dogs. He has never been around cats. He has been neutered. He’s going to need extra, loving to get through his grief and he may be a little shy and scared at first. Lived with 2 female dogs not males.
