Story
One morning in May of 2025, we found Byron in a busy intersection at Howard and Gregg in Pflugerville. He was emaciated, patchy, dirty, and so sad. We took him to the vet and started our journey to getting him healthy and happy. They said he was 6 months old at the time, and weighed 22lbs. Right after finding Byron, we found out we were going to be having a baby. Over the last year, we have worked hard to address his allergies, put weight on him, and help his hair grow back. He's looking and feeling great! Unfortunately, there have been three separate instances of him getting aggressive with small children. It struck us incredibly odd, because he's such a sweet dog with us and our older children. We recently learned he's blind in his right eye, so we think what has happened is they've caught him off guard. Regardless, we can't risk it with our new baby. We have to find this sweet pup a new home.Byron is a lazy lay-arounder. He is home alone A LOT, and is never destructive or anxious.

Urgent foster/rehome Looking for assistance with a dog I am temporarily sheltering Nova is a purebred Australian shepherd breed to have a smaller size and is in wonderful health with the paperwork to back it up. She is perfectly fine with cats and children but for dogs at minimum she could potentially work with a behaviorist to help with her dog reactivity. Nova is an incredibly sweet and smart girl who has completed the pet smart advanced training course. She has well tuned leash walking, recall and potty training abilities and is crate trained but is in urgent need of a new environment. Nova is an anxious dog and is struggling to coexist with her canine housemate and is unable to stay in her current placement for long and is facing the potential of a county shelter where if she is not in a foster home may exacerbate her fears and anxieties

Bronx was adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) on April 23, 2023. He was 11 weeks old and weighed 9.20 lbs. and presumed to be a Border Collie Mix but staff was unsure what he was mixed with. Since his adoption he has completed the required Puppy Training course provided by HSSV while also receiving continued training by his family. Bronx is potty trained, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc..) but could benefit from more extensive and regular training and strong leadership from pack leader or family. Bronx loves to run, fetch and socialize with other dogs and people. He has been trained to be both on and off leash and responds to commands when off leash; but keep in mind he's still a puppy and sometimes gets distracted and may need commands repeated. Bronx also can get a little over excited when it comes to meeting other dogs and people and may jump on them or at them to greet them. BRONX IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA.
