Story
Hi, my name is Bubbles and I am a pure bread miniature Australian Shepard. My owner passed away a while back and I am being fostered with my friend Beatrice by a family in Leander. I am about 8 years old, weight about 25 pounds and am a very affectionate dog. I like to lie my head on your lap and get pet almost as much as I like dog treats. My foster family takes good care of me and all my shots are up to date with regular trips to see my veterinarian in Lago Vista. I do not bark very much, but I will let you know when someone is at the door or when a squirrel gets in my yard. I am crate trained and don't mind spending a few hours there while you go to work or go shopping. I can't stay at my foster home much longer so Beatrice and I are looking for a new home and we would love to become your new best friends.

Story
Meet Yuna, a stunning Australian Shepherd with a beautiful Blue Merle coat. She is a medium-sized dog weighing approximately 60 lbs and is currently looking for a new loving home. Yuna is known for her loyalty, playfulness, and affectionate nature. She enjoys being around people and craves attention and affection. Without adequate physical and mental stimulation, she can become anxious and may display some aggression. It's important to note that Yuna's aggression has been primarily directed toward other animals rather than humans. She may require careful introductions and proper socialization with other pets in the household. Yuna does have a fear of men initially, but with patience and understanding, she can become accustomed to them over time as they gain her trust. Building a positive relationship and providing her with a calm and secure environment will help her overcome her fears.

Story
This is Ellie and she has been our family dog going on 10 years! We have had her since she was a pup and she is one of the sweetest, friendliest dogs you'll ever meet. She loves people and getting pets, and always wants to say hi to other dogs and people. As far as we know she is part mini-Aussie, part border collie? But we never got hard evidence of this. My wife and I got her when she was just a pup, and she was our fur baby. We loved Ellie and still do, but we have three little ones now and Ellie is just not getting the attention she needs or deserves, and we are finding our home is not at peace. Ellie is so sweet and gentle, and overall a well behaved dog. However she suffers from seizures. She started having them years ago and they occur about once a month. This year they became worse and started coming in multiples. We have her on some anti-seizure medication though but there still can be breakthroughs. They are scary to watch but she's always happy to see you when shes back

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- New Braunfels, TX Meet Bentley! She is an 6 year old Miniature American Shepherd and weighs 30 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Bentley is great with older children, cats, and dogs! No younger children, due to her reactivity! Bentley bit the owner’s 2 year old daughter on her face. She jumped on the couch to sit next to the owner’s daughter. Their daughter leaned into Bentley with her weight and elbows, which caused Bentley to turn around and bite. She is currently taking fluoxetine, but the owner says this isn’t required by their vet or trainer. She is reactive in certain situations: delivery men, thunderstorms, fireworks, doorbells, vacuums, and hair dryers. Bentley also has some resource guarding issues. The owner is surrendering her because she bit their 2 year old daughter. She needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Bentley, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherd’s Furever for their assistance in placing Bentley. Owner’s Contact Information: Monica at monica_pena@utexas.edu.

Story
Mabel is a five year old short haired red border collie. We adopted Mabel when she was 8 weeks old. We have one other dog in the home as well a 1 year old. A few weeks after our son was born, Mabel started becoming extremely aggressive towards our other dog to the point where they can not be together. We have kept them separate for the past year. This has been the toughest decision we have ever had to make but we have decided the best thing for both dogs and our family is to re-home Mabel. Mabel is reactive to people she does not know but has demonstrated she can build up trust with someone to where she is comfortable with them. Once Mabel knows you she gives you her whole heart. Every night she sleeps curled in a little ball tucked into my knees. Her favorite things are getting all the pets, sunning herself for hours in the backyard and playing with her favorite kong ball. Mabel overall does have a nervous temperament but she is very trainable. We have been working on and off with a t
