Story
Meet Hazel! This sweet girl is under two years old, around 35 pounds, and full of playful energy and love. Hazel looks like an Australian Shepherd mix, with a beautiful coat and bright, expressive eyes that show just how grateful she is to have a second chance. Rescued from a high-risk shelter in the Rio Grande Valley, Hazel was saved and has embraced life with a joyful heart. Though it’s clear she’s had puppies in the past, she’s now spayed and ready to enjoy a future focused on her happiness. Hazel is friendly with other dogs and adores people—especially kids over five who can keep up with her playful spirit. She loves outdoor adventures, belly rubs, and being part of a family. She is crate trained and doing well with potty training. She’s looking for a forever home where she can continue to thrive, share her affection, and finally be someone’s beloved companion. Could Hazel be your new best friend? We prefer Austin, TX area adoptions. The $350 adoption fee covers the vet fee, spay, flea/tick prevention, heartworm test, vaccinations, dewormer, and microchip. A fenced backyard is preferred. If you have a pool, it needs to be fenced. Children over 5 years old.

Story
Please meet our very handsome Rebel Von Wigglebottoms! Rebel may be his name, but snuggling is his game! A good samaritan rescued him from a neglectful and dangerous situation - he was being left outside of his home in the rural North Texas heat :( Rebel is dog friendly, but needs slow introductions to feel secure! Not sure on cats. He absolutely loves kids and gets along amazingly well with his human foster kiddos, of around 2 & 5 yrs of age. Definitely a family doggo! Rebel is about 5 yrs old, so not too many puppy shenanigans, but he is definitely full of energy for a good running partner! Then afterwards, he could also cuddle up to binge your favorite show! Rebel is also crate-trained, as well as potty trained. Are you interested in fostering or adopting Rebel Von Wigglebottoms? Story
About Oakley: * Breed: Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix * Age: 7 * Size: 50 pounds * Personality: Friendly, loyal to his person * House-Trained * Kennel-Trained.
Oakley has been with my husband and I since he was just a couple months old. He has always been our only pet so not really sure how he would be with other dogs. Oakley is disinterested with our kids. He would do best as an Inside Dog, sleeps inside, but he loves to play outside! He loves to play fetch, swim, and definitely needs a backyard. He is very loyal and incredibly sweet to his person.

Story
Levi is a roughly 4 year old Australian shepherd. Very happy and super full of life. Loves to play and meet new people. Over the last year my schedule has became very over bad as an engineer where I’m jumping 12+ hour days or 2 AM deployments making it very hard for me to be the best parent tor him. He was crate trained but when I moved from NC to TX he got very restless in a crate and started at times using the bathroom in the house so may need better training with these items. He is very excited on a leash when you first try to walk him but does calm down after a moment.

Story
Honey is a sweet, healthy girl who did not come from a nice home environment. Her current adopters need to rehome her as their older dog is not friendly at all with Honey. They did their best by giving her the care she never really got with the original owners. The adopters, who are a couple of seniors, realize that Honey needs a younger family who are active, a friendly but calm dog-friend, and younger kids who will play with her and give her lots of belly rubs. This couple tried their best to provide her a safe home but in achieving this, they also find that the fit is still not quite right. This is terribly heartbreaking for them and their decision is not an easy one. They have realized for a while now that Honey deserves better and not just "existing." Hence, our rescue was contacted to help them with rehoming. Honey plays well with the neighbor dogs and is not aggressive at all. She is quite good around children as the adopters have granddaughters ages 3, 2, and 1. She is definitely great with leash walking, is house trained and just a lovable "honey bear." Let's find her a last forever family and home!! The adoption fee of $250 includes the vet exam, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, heartworm prevention, and a spay. We prefer Austin, TX adoptions but will consider nearby cities. A fenced backyard is a must.
