Ivy is a sweet, friendly, and energetic dog. She loves going on walks/hikes but is also content to chill on the couch with you. She is not super cuddly but she loves to spend time with her people. Ivy has never met a person she didn’t love. She loves to meet dog friends although she prefers only one or two at a time.

Story
Trell is ready to be right by your side as you explore all the hiking trails this summer! He has good leash manners and loves to go out and explore. When you offer him a toy he gets the zoomies and plays catch by himself, tossing the toy and then retrieving it over and over again. He needs to learn some basic manners, like not jumping up or sitting for treats, but he is very treat motivated and wants to learn. He likes to run and wrestle with other dogs. Story
Tevica 801-710-6089Oak is affectionate and loves to lay on your feet. He is eager to please. He is generally good on a leash except when other dogs come by. He enjoys going to the dog park and is well behaved there. He becomes aggressive and nervous about food, always acting like he’s hungry even when fed. He’ll sometimes sneak into the garbage or pull something off the counter. When he knows he’s done something wrong, that’s when he becomes aggressive - barking, growling, snarling even when you’re calmly correcting him. It seems like he’s had a rough past and needs someone to take special time and effort to train and love him. I don’t have the knowledge or means to do that for him. When it says he’s bitten someone, I mean a nip, no skin broken.

Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Rico is an independent boy with would do best with a dog savvy adopter that has breed experience. He does not seem to be a fan of the other animals here at the shelter. He does know the sit and shake commands. Rico does have a mild bite history and any potential adopter will need to sign a bite disclosure. Weighs 41 pounds, $25 to adopt

Story
Brittni 801-645-0702We are needing to rehome our mini Australian Shepherd named Grizz. He is 6 years old and fixed. This is so hard for me but he needs a home where he can run, play, and have lots of love. He is kennel aggressive without a treat, but other than that a loving pup. He loves to cuddle, play fetch, run, etc. I do think he would do better in a home without small children, but older children would be great! I’m absolutely heartbroken. We just want him to go to a loving home where he gets the attention he needs.

Story
Miniature Aussie. Cute, loving, and playful dog. She is the sweetest dog you could ever have and loves to get loves and cuddles. She is extremely loyal and very obedient. She loves to play tug war and run around outside. She loves walks and hiking. She grew up around other dogs and around young children, and we never had an issue with her. She is extremely well behaved and trained. Is crate trained, potty trained since 6 months old, knows all basic commands, walk trained with and without leash. She has never tried to run away and will stay in the yard. She broke and dislocated her ankle and unfortunately we are unable to afford the surgery required to give her the best quality of life. The vet we went to said it would be approximately $2084.10 to fix her leg. We are absolutely devastated, but we want what is best for her. She will be 4 years old in June.
