******COURTESY LISTING******* Meet Max — a handsome almost-4-year-old Aussie/Beagle mix with a big heart and even bigger energy! 🎉 Born on March 15, 2022, Max is neutered, crate-trained, and fully house-broken — the total good-boy package. Max is a friendly, curious, and outgoing pup who’s always ready for his next adventure. He loves to run, play, and explore the world, whether that’s on long walks or discovering brand-new places. When playtime is over, he’s just as happy soaking up snuggles and belly rubs. Super smart and eager to please, Max already knows several commands and thrives on learning new things and tackling fun challenges. An active household where he can be the one and only pet would be his dream come true — more love, more adventures, and more attention just for him! If you’re looking for an intelligent, affectionate, and energetic best friend, Max is ready to steal your heart. Max is neutered, current on vaccinations and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Max, please complete an adoption application on this website (uaaf.org/adopt). For more information, call/text Cathy at 801-598-0771 or Kristine at 956-639-1171.

Story
My husband & I purchased Sophie from a guy who lived across the street from us. His brother breeds Australian Shepherds and Sophie and her brother were the only ones left. We usually adopt but Sophie and her brother kept escaping his backyard. So we were afraid they would get hit by a car. So we bought them. They’re both 5 years old. My husband & I are getting divorced and I have moved out of our house. I am living with my sister and cannot have them live with me as my nephew & brother in law are allergic to dogs. My husband hits Sophie and her brother when he’s angry or they do something he doesn’t like. I want them to have a home where they’re not scared all the time and don’t get hit. They would do best in a home where the owners live an active lifestyle. Their breed needs lots of exercise. So if you hike, run, or anything active they would be excellent companions. I would prefer they be adopted together as they’ve been together all their lives. His name is Noah.
We'll also keep you updated on Noah's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Beast is a good dog! my late husband got him for me as a wedding present before he passed away... Beast has come so far from our life in colorado, He is such an energetic little character.. He likes to chase laser pointers and tries to herd my toddler around the house. he is mouthy but only when he needs your attention ** tries to mouth off bark or get yappy ** he is potty trained and knows basic commands. He likes long car rides pretty much anywhere he does okay off leash as well as good with a lead leash. I used to go to school for pet grooming and he does okay he has issues with the water being in his presents without permission but otherwise does good with grooming... We are having to move out of our townhouse and find new living situation... we have 4 kids between the 2 of us and have to stay with family for a while to get back on our feet. I am only asking for a small re homing fee for serious owners. He is a great dog!

Story
Meet Skye – Your Loyal, Sensitive Adventure Buddy &#239&#184&#143Skye is a 9-year-old Australian Shepherd with a gentle soul, a brilliant mind, and a heart that bonds deeply with her person. She’s a shy, sweet, and attentive girl who blossoms into a wonderfully devoted companion once she feels safe.Skye's favorite pastime? Playing fetch with her beloved tennis ball, followed by a cozy hangout with her human. At this stage in her life, she enjoys a balanced routine - daily walks, some ball-chasing fun, and the mental challenge of treat puzzles keep her happy and fulfilled. She's medium-energy, agile, smart, and always up for an adventure as long as she's with someone she trusts.Skye is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and an excellent leash walker. She's responsive to commands like leave it and focus, and she tries hard to make good choices, especially when she's feeling nervous. She takes daily Fluoxetine to help manage her anxiety, which has been beneficial for her. While she's not destructive when left alone, Skye truly prefers companionship and does best with someone who is home often. She is sensitive and protective of her space - quick movements or unfamiliar guests can make her anxious, and she may try to 'herd' people by nipping at heels. Because of this, a quieter home without young children or frequent visitors would be ideal. Skye can coexist with other calm dogs and cats, though she tends to keep to herself and prefers slow introductions. A yard would be a wonderful bonus for her.Skye's perfect match is someone patient, gentle, and understanding - someone who appreciates her quirks, respects her boundaries, and celebrates her incredible loyalty and intelligence. With the right person, she is affectionate, playful, deeply connected, and wonderfully sassy in all the best ways.If you're looking for a smart, soulful companion who will adore you endlessly and join you on meaningful adventures, Skye may be your perfect match. &#239&#184&#143Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $100.
