Looking for the right forever home for Zeus!Zeus is a 6-month-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who came to us after a friend escaped an abusive situation. Sadly, Zeus has experienced abuse himself and is especially fearful of men. He needs a patient, loving home where he can feel safe and build trust at his own pace.Despite his difficult start, Zeus is a truly sweet, goofy, cuddly boy. He loves children and other dogs, is potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, knows basic commands, and is incredibly smart.Zeus is high-energy and needs daily exercise, an active family, preferably another dog to play with, and a fenced yard. He is still working on crate training and will need vaccinations and neutering.He has had a rough first six months, but he has so much love and potential. More than anything, Zeus wants to feel safe and experience the love he deserves.We are not in a rush we want the right home for him. If things ever don’t work out, please reach back out to us

Meet Fly! This handsome 8-year-old Australian Shepherd mix weighs about 30–32 pounds and is the definition of an easygoing companion. He’s chill, affectionate, and happiest when he’s near his people.Fly is fully house-trained, has excellent manners, sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, and patiently waits for you to wake up. He’s also a fantastic leash walker and loves walks, car rides, and a good game of fetch. His energy level is low to moderate, so one good walk and/or some playtime each day is plenty.Fly warms up quickly to people and has been wonderful with kids of all ages. He is partially deaf but responds well to physical cues. He is not reactive to other dogs, but he can become nervous if another dog is overly interested in playing with him or acts territorial toward him. In those situations, Fly may bark until he can get some space. He doesn’t lunge or try to fight—he simply wants the other dog to back off.Fly would be happiest as an only dog or with a calm, relaxed canine companion who respects his space. We don’t know how he does with cats.One of Fly’s cutest quirks? The second he sees his leash, he’s ready to go—you practically don’t even have to put it on! He does need a fenced yard and a home that will be careful around open doors, as he’s an enthusiastic door-dasher.If you’re looking for a sweet, relaxed companion who loves his people, enjoys a good game of fetch, and is always up for a car ride, Fly might just be your guy! â¤ï¸Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. She’s affectionate, playful, smart, and loves her people—expect plenty of kisses and lap cuddles!JoJo is great with kids and other dogs, and would love a playful canine sibling, although she could also be your one-and-only. She enjoys walks, playtime, adventures, and basically anything that involves being with her humans.She’s doing well with her crate and is learning her house manners, but she’s still very much a work in progress. Counter surfing, jumping for her food bowl, door darting, and potty training are areas we’re working on. She knows sit, come, and no, and is eager to learn when treats and praise are involved.JoJo walks nicely on leash with a little pulling, but she does chase cars, so continued training and management are important.
