Story
Rex is a black and white Shepherd mix from Louisiana, looking for his furever home. At two years old, Rex has the perfect mix of playful energy and maturity, making him an excellent companion for adventures, walks, and relaxing at home with the people he loves. Rex is currently heartworm positive, but don't let that discourage you. Heartworm disease is treatable, and with proper veterinary care, dogs can go on to live long, happy lives. During treatment, he'll need a calm environment and restricted activity while he recovers, and he'll appreciate a family willing to support him through that process.

Story
Louie is a large, sweet, shy boy. He came in as a stray from Jamestown. He entered the rescue as a dog who tried to hide in the corner. Now he waits for a volunteer to hook him up to a leash for walks. He is great on leash. He has warmed up to the volunteers at the rescue. Still a bit nervous, but very interested in other dogs. He will require a patient person to continue to bring out his personality. Being a stray, we don't know if he is housetrained or crate trained. The pictures that you see are to give you an idea of what he would look like with Louie. He is waiting for that special person.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. He will need to be adopted in Crossville, TN.Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to your browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Riley is about 7 years old. We adopted him 2.5 years ago and he has been a great dog, but he has struggled over the last year to adjust to a new baby in the house- he likes adults and older children, but the baby makes him anxious. Riley is very active and intelligent. He loves hiking and running, and is energetic outside but generally calm indoors. He listens very well. You can put food in front of him, tell him to wait, leave the room for 5 minutes, and come back to find that he has not moved. He is very affectionate and loves humans. He has lived with cats successfully. He is not destructive at all- he has never once chewed up any of our belongings and he completely house trained. Important: Riley does not like other dogs! He cannot live with them, and his humans need to be vigilant when taking him places where other dogs are present. Riley would do well with an active person/couple/family who would enjoy his intelligence and energy.

Our newest little powerhouse 💥🐾 Don’t let his size fool you — Heinz is way more powerful than he looks and full of energy. He doesn’t do “walks” in the traditional sense… he leads the way on his invisible pogo-stick ⚡ More than just energy, Heinz has a big heart. During playtime, he stands up for the little guys and makes sure everyone plays fair 🐶❤️ At just 8 months old, Heinz is ready for a forever home — could that be yours?
