Story
Meet Rango – Your Loyal Adventure Buddy! * Rango is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd/Doberman/German Shepherd mix (our best guess!) with a heart as big as his goofy grin. This sweet, high-energy boy is looking for a forever home where he can be part of every adventure—and every cuddle session! * Why You’ll Love Rango: * Super Sweet & Loyal: Rango wants to be by your side 24/7/365. Whether on a hike or curled up on the couch, he just wants to be with his person. * Playful & Goofy: He’s full of energy and joy, and when given his favorite toys—a filled Kong or a chewy bone—he’s a happy camper. * Smart & Trainable: Potty trained, crate-training in progress, and a quick learner on a leash. This boy is eager to please! * Great with People & Kids: Rango loves people and does wonderfully with dog-savvy children (ages 3 and 6 in his foster home). * Dog-Friendly: He gets along well with his easygoing foster brother, a two-year-old Heeler mix. A Few Things to Know: * Rango can get a bit jumpy and sometimes shreds things if bored—but interactive toys and reassurance work wonders. * He’s still building confidence since he hadn’t seen much of the world as a young pup, but he’s brave and loving when guided with treats and patience. Rango was rescued as a stray near Moses Lake and has blossomed into a loyal, cuddly, and adventurous companion. He’s 100% rescued, and 100% ready for his forever home. 📍 Location: Cashmere, WA 👉 Apply to Adopt: https://www.cognitoforms.com/Okandogs1/DogAdoptionApplication If you’re looking for a loyal partner to share your life, adventures, and couch space—Rango is your guy!

Story
Meet Rainy | 5-Month-Old Australian Shepherd Mix (aka “The Worm”) If love could wiggle, it would look exactly like Rainy. Rainy is a 5-month-old Australian Shepherd mix who has earned the affectionate nickname “the worm” — not because she’s sneaky, but because when she loves you, she worms her entire body toward you. Belly low, tail wagging, whole body in motion, Rainy greets the world with pure devotion and an open heart. She is incredibly loving and deeply submissive, always eager to please and happiest when she’s close to her people. Sometimes her excitement gets the best of her — she’s been known to do a little happy piddle when she just can’t contain how thrilled she is to see you. It’s not bad manners, it’s just a baby dog with a heart too big for her body. Rainy loves to play and explore, but her favorite place will always be right by your side. Whether you’re walking from room to room or settling in for quiet time, she wants to be included in every moment. She’s the kind of pup who makes you feel chosen. With other animals, Rainy is still learning. New friends can make her unsure at first, but she’s doing the important work of discovering her confidence and learning how to set healthy boundaries. With continued socialization, patience, and guidance, she’s only going to grow into a well-rounded, emotionally intelligent dog. Rainy is still very much a puppy — sweet, impressionable, and full of potential. She’s looking for a home that will nurture her confidence, laugh at her wiggles, and help her grow into the incredible companion she’s meant to be. If you’re ready for unconditional love, constant companionship, and a dog who will happily follow you anywhere (possibly wiggling the whole way)… Rainy is waiting for you.
