Story
If your 2026 goal is to be more active, Paddy could be your perfect adventure sidekick. Paddy loves water: streams, lakes, rivers, water hoses. Full of personality and very curious, she is always up for a hike or a walk, then eagerly cuddles and soaks all your attention. She has striking blue eyes and a gorgeous coat, weighs 38 pounds and stands 19 inches at the shoulder. Paddy is a favorite with staff at doggie day care and plays well with the littles. She would do really well as an only dog, or with a confident dog. She is still a young, active dog and needs exercise. She may even be a good candidate for agility classes. She is crate trained, house trained, spayed, microchipped, and UTD on shots. From her DNA test results she is Australian shepherd mix, Border Collie, and Husky. She was born December 7, 2023. Located in foster home in Boise Idaho, transport is provided to approved home within the Pacific northwest. Email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com for Paddy!

Meet Brunswick 💙🐾 Brunswick is a four-+-year-old Mini Aussie/Papillon mix with the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. This gentle boy is full of love and kindness, and he’s just waiting for a family to show him the safe, happy life he truly deserves. Brunswick absolutely loves to cuddle and be close to his people. He adores little kids, enjoys going on hikes, and is especially happy around water—whether it’s splashing, exploring, or just soaking up the adventure with you by his side. Because of abuse in his past, Brunswick can be a bit sensitive. He sometimes rolls onto his back when being pet, and he has some depth perception challenges. Despite this, he remains incredibly loving and trusting, and with patience and understanding, he continues to blossom more each day. He would do best in a home that can offer him reassurance, kindness, and lots of love. Brunswick is currently located in Eastern Washington, and Journey Home Rescue provides transportation to approved homes throughout the Pacific Northwest. If you feel your home could be the perfect match for this special boy, please email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com and ask for Brunswick. Let’s help Brunswick find the loving forever home he’s been waiting for 🐶💕

Story
Meet Miley! Miley is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd/Husky mix with stunning blue eyes and a heart full of love. She’s silly, goofy, affectionate, and full of fun! This smart girl wants nothing more than to please her people, though she’s a bit cat-like—she loves attention, but on her own terms. Every morning, she’ll crawl right into your lap and happily demand tummy rubs! Miley is house-trained and spends all her time indoors, only going outside to the deck for potty breaks. She plays hard, but can settle nicely once she’s had her fun. She gets along well with other dogs and, with a little training and patience, could adjust to life with cats. Miley is looking for a home where she can run, play ball, and enjoy walks or hikes with her family. Her current family loves her dearly but realized that with two new businesses and a new baby, they can’t give her the time and attention she deserves. If you’re ready for a smart, loving, and playful companion, Miley is waiting for you! 👉 Apply to Adopt: https://www.cognitoforms.com/Okandogs1/DogAdoptionApplication

Story
Meet Flynn! 🐾 Breed: Australian Shepherd / Border Collie / American Eskimo mix 🐾 Age: 4 years old 🐾 Weight: 40 lbs 🐾 Good with: Kids, dogs, and cats 🐾 Training: Crate trained, highly trainable, eager to please Flynn is a sweet, affectionate, and intelligent dog looking for a forever home that can give him the time and attention he deserves. He loves to play, receive belly rubs, and learn new commands—he picks up on training quickly and thrives when mentally stimulated. For the first two years after his initial adoption, Flynn was housebroken and enjoyed living as part of the family with kids, cats, and another dog. After a move to a home with limited indoor space for the dogs, Flynn has spent more time outside and will need some reintroduction to consistent house training. A dedicated owner could easily help him adjust to a full indoor routine again. Flynn is an incredibly smart dog with a big heart and he especially loves children. He would thrive in a home where he can join family activities, go on walks or adventures, and be truly part of the daily routine, while burning off his mental and physical energy. If you’re looking for a loyal, trainable, and loving companion who just needs a bit of time and attention to shine, Flynn could be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️ If you’re interested in giving Flynn a home where he can thrive, please reach out! Story
I purchased Shep from a breeder of Australian Shepherds at 4 months. He is now 2 years old/ 40 lbs. Early on, he needed a unique home with experience, due that fact that he was born with a (geneticially-verified) blindness condition. He has personality trait that may be related to blindness: He loves to spin in a circle, as a calming mechanism. Due to the blindness and the spinning, he wouldn't be good for elderly people. He is a cuddler and wants to be touched, cuddled or rest against your legs for most of the day. He is a sweetheart. Never aggressive. Especially loves women and kids! We moved to an apartment and no longer have a private yard for him, which he misses. He clearly loves to be outside playing in a yard or going on frequent walks. He enjoys other dogs but he's never lived with another dog, so he'd need a patient pet sibling that didn't get agitated by his spinning. He is in excellent health and needs a new home that welcomes his disability and his energetic love!

Story
Charlie girl is 7.5 years old. She was adopted from a breeder. She is still spry and needs and wants lots of activity daily. She is very smart, knowing many commands and some hand signs, and can be directed to show you what she needs. Seeking adopter that can provide for physical activity and attention needs. Would be preferable to have property for her to roam and/or frequent adventures. She just wants to be included in everyday life.
