Age: 2y Gender: Male Breed: Pocket Bully mix Weight: 40 Personality: He’s chill and a couch potato about 90% of the day. The other 10% he likes to run around the backyard and get his zoomies out and play with his dog friends. Boogie LOVES food and will eat anything and everything you give him, he’s a literal garbage disposal. He needs to be fed in a slow feeder so he doesn’t throw up his food from eating so fast because he likes to inhale his food. He should be fed separately away from any other dogs or else he WILL try to eat their food too. Friendliness: Dogs: Yes Cats: Yes Kids: Yes Education: Bathroom in training, crate trained, leash trained (but does pull slightly initially from excitement) Favorite Activities: FOOD! Walks around the block, car rides, cuddling and snuggling, giving kisses, belly scratches, ripping up empty boxes, KIDS! He loves kids almost as much as he loves food! Looking For: Boogie would do great in any type of household. He really loves his humans and especially kids and loves to be with his people as much as possible. He’s fully crate trained and has zero separation anxiety so he could definitely be ok with a working family too, as long as they promise to cuddle and spoil him when they’re home. Due to his breed, he can’t and shouldn’t go for super long and strenuous walks or hikes, but Boogie is always down for an adventure, he loves going places! He does great in the car and just loves being around people, especially if he gets belly rubs in the process. He’s great at bars and restaurants and loves the attention, so if you’re looking for a buddy you can take everywhere with you, Boogie is your boy! It takes some time for him to warm up to new people, but once the trust is earned, he becomes very playful and affectionate. They told me that their parents were separated and that the dog belonged to their father, who had gone to Los Angeles, CA. That I couldn't take her, and that her mother didn't want her. I accepted them.

13-year-old Rhodey found himself at LA Animal Care & Control’s Palmdale Shelter when his family could no longer care for him. After welcoming Rhodey as a Frosted Face, it didn’t take long to see what a true love bug he is. He quickly earned the honor of being an FFF lobby dog, and he does such a great job at greeting everyone. Rhodey gets along well with other dogs and even passed his on-site cat test, making him a wonderful match for homes with feline family members, too! Rhodey recently enjoyed a Frosted Fling over the holidays, and his foster mom had only wonderful things to share. "Rhodey is such a sweetheart, easy going and very adoptable. Here are some fun facts: * Walks: Rhodey does well on short, slow walks. We go around the block, maybe a third of a mile at most. He loves to stop and say hi to all humans and dogs. * Car rides: Rhodey does well in cars, although he can’t jump into one. You may need a ramp or some help getting him in. * Manners: What a gentleman! He is very friendly and gentle. He loves his people. He absolutely adores being pet and will put his head on you for some scratches. * Potty: Rhodey is fully potty trained and very smart. He will tell you if he needs to go outside by going to the door or coming up to you to let you know. * Alone time: Rhodey has no separation anxiety. I was able to go to work full days and leave him to free roam in the house. He doesn’t get into anything and sleeps all day. Honey (she goes by Dolce, but we have another dog also with that name) came from a home with far too many dogs that overwhelmed the owner. Honey is 50 pounds, is recently spayed and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She is a typical female, who can get a little growly around strangers poking and prodding (not a fan of the vet but manageable), but has lived with other dogs and kids with no issues. Her coat has cleaned up nicely with good food and some short-term antibiotics. Honey is the princess, preferring inside to out (she is completely housetrained, but just doesn't want to hang out in the yard otherwise). She is quiet, not a big barker and likes to give kisses and hugs. Honey is fostering in the Indio, California area.
