Story
WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi!! My name is Koa! ARE YOU A GIRL OR A BOY? I am a very sweet boy! HOW OLD ARE YOU? I am around 10 to 11 years old. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a pit bull mix. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I am 50 pounds of muscle. WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I am a tan little muscular boy with a big smile and an even bigger heart. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I love my food and treats as well. I have discovered that I enjoy fruit as well like bananas, blueberries and apples. WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am a pretty chill little man that loves his chew toys. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day starts with grabbing my favorite toy and heading outside to do a little sniffing around. Then I take care of business and head back in the house to get breakfast. I usually like to fall back to sleep while chewing on my favorite toy. I nap most of the day, potty, eat, play…the simple things in life make me happy! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I love all toys that I can chomp down on, but I do have a pink rubber ball that is my favorite. DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I have learned how to sit and I have discovered that I get treats when I do it. So, I sit even before I am asked to now. WHAT SCARES YOU? Loud noises like vacuums and fireworks scare me. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? DO YOU LIKE THEM? I do like children, but I don’t like to share my toys, so no children under 13 please. DO YOU LIKE CATS? No cats please. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I have been through a lot in my past, so I would like to get all of the attention. No other doggies please. IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? I would like to be anywhere where I get lots of love and treats. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I am a healthy boy. WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I currently live with my foster mom. Her boyfriend comes over frequently and I love to lay on his lap. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I hang out in my crate. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep in my crate. It is my safe, cozy space and I can relax and just be chill in there. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I like walking on my leash. I like to carry my pink ball with me as I walk on my leash. DO YOU HAVE ANY "NOT-SO-GREAT" HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? FOR INSTANCE, DO YOU BARK OR DIG IN THE YARD? I do like to steal brooms and chew them up, so brooms should be out of my sight. I also like to bark when playing with my pink toy outside. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED? Heck yeah! I am all good with the potty stuff… no worries there! DO YOU LIKE WATER? I run to the bathroom for bath/shower time! Swimming? I am not built for water sports, so let’s make it a team effort to keep me safe from pools and other large bodies of water, okay? WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? I have learned that people aren’t so bad. I get lots of cuddles and treats! WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? I had a not so good life before coming to NorCal Bully Breed Rescue. I was brought in after being shot in the head and arm. (Yikes, right? Scary!) But I am so lucky that NorCal Bully Breed Rescue took me in and nursed me back to health. I have put all that behind me now and I am doing great! I am looking for my forever home that can give me lots of love! Maybe you are looking for a chill guy who just wants to be loved and have a few toys to play with? I promise to love you for the rest of my life and give you lots of cuddles and kisses! ***KOA’s ADOPTION FEE IS $100** If you are interested in Koa please jump on our website and fill out an adoption application - www.norcalbullybreedrescue.org For more information on where we adopt to and what that means and why that is, please click on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/333019703483910/posts/3264412130344638/?extid=0&d=n Thank you so much in advance for understanding!!

Story
Cece was taken in to our home because in her previous living situation she was malnourished and in bad condition. She was literally skin and bones when we rescued her. Her transition to being happy and healthy has been amazing to see. She is great with adult dogs, cats and people. She doesn’t like to be bothered by hyper and excited puppies jumping all over her. She does love kids and being pet and shown attention and love. She is pretty lazy but likes to walk off leash on short walks on our block in front of our house. She doesn’t mind a leash but she does well off of one. She enjoys car rides. She enjoy laying outside on warm sunny days. She does sleep inside on her dog bed in her designated area. She prefers to be inside most of the time. She knows how to use a doggy door but she prefers to be let outside.

He loves to play fetch, and walks well on leash, loves car rides and is a housedog with outside privileges. Armani is also crate trained to short periods of time. With his affectionate nature and active, yet well-mannered spirit, he is an ideal match for an individual or family who enjoys spending time outdoors and engaging in playful activities. He would love to bring Joy to a loving family that can provide him with the attention and care he deserves. He’s a quick learner, making him a great candidate for training and socialization. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*SPECIAL NEEDS* Meet Croquette, affectionately known as K, a French Bulldog puppy who is not only adorable but truly special in every way. Despite facing some significant challenges, K embodies the spirit of resilience and boundless joy. This delightful pup shares all the typical traits of a French Bulldog puppy – she loves to play, indulge in chewy hooves, enjoy her meals, and bask in the warmth of snuggles. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and she'll dance with excitement, hoping you'll scoop her up for some extra love. K, however, is a very special girl, born with severe defects, including Spina Bifida with an open defect and leg differences, as well as hydrocephalus (or missing parts of her brain). These conditions mean that her back legs didn't form correctly, and she'll require diapers throughout her life. Her balance is a work in progress, and she may experiences occasional seizures (no meds required as none have helped). While K's special care demands around 45 minutes a day, she firmly believes she deserves attention at all times. She is on the lookout for a family that can provide constant companionship. Foster mom works but luckily someone stops in to care for K during the day.  K will eat hard food but doesn't have the drive for water, so she is fed mush (often by the spoon) to make sure she gets hydrated.  Handling her bathroom needs involves gentle expressions, a routine that K takes in stride. This may seem like a lot, but the reward is immeasurable – the sheer happiness and joy that K brings to every moment. In terms of life expectancy, K's story aligns with another dog adopted out six years ago with similar conditions, who is still thriving today. While the duration of any dog's life is uncertain, what truly matters is the love and cherishment they receive during their time. For those willing to embrace the uniqueness of caring for a special needs pup and provide a loving home, the adoption fee is waived for the right match. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sacramento- Meet Brie, the delightful 2-year-old French Bulldog with a heart as warm as her fur. Brie is a charming canine companion, characterized by her laid-back demeanor and love for leisure. While she may not be a morning enthusiast, her playful side emerges when the mood strikes, making her a delightful playmate. Brie's unique story adds a layer of depth to her character. She was previously the cherished companion of an owner who faced physical challenges but provided her with love and care. Unfortunately, her owner has passed away, and now Brie is seeking a new loving home. This adorable Frenchie is a social butterfly with other animals, displaying a non-dominant and friendly attitude. She's currently in the process of learning crate and house training, showcasing her adaptability and willingness to learn. Brie has been spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.  One of Brie's endearing quirks is her preference for sleeping on your bed, where she can unleash her impressive snoring talents. Despite the noise, her comforting presence is sure to bring joy and warmth to your nights. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing, and affectionate furry friend, Brie might be the perfect addition to your home. Give this lovable French Bulldog the chance to share her love and companionship with a new family. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Available in Sacramento area- Meet Fleacia! Born February 25th, Fleacia is a spunky little French Bulldog with a huge personality! Fleacia (along with two littermates) came to us at just 4 weeks old after a rough start in life. Out of a litter of eight, only these three survived due to poor early care. Since then, Fleacia has been given every opportunity to thrive — she's traveled, met tons of people and dogs, and has been socialized to the fullest! Fleacia is the classic "extra" pup — the one who’s always stirring the pot. She loves to roughhouse, get into mischief, and thinks the entire world revolves around her. If you’ve ever met that unforgettable, larger-than-life Frenchie... that’s Fleacia. And honestly, it’s what makes her so lovable. She reminds me of my own Frenchie who thought life was one big stage built just for her. Fleacia will need a family who can appreciate her silly, ADHD energy. She’ll thrive with structure, guidance, and someone who finds joy in her endless antics. Her playful spirit will have you laughing every single day! A few fun facts about Fleacia: Her ears are currently at "half-mast" — always entertaining to watch as she’s teething! She has a unique, longer corkscrew tail — a little extra twist of Frenchie charm. Her beautiful coloring and sparkling personality promise to make her a true showstopper. Ideal home: Fleacia would LOVE a home with another playful dog or kids to keep her busy and entertained. She's ready to bring non-stop joy and energy into the right family’s life. If you’re looking for a best friend who will keep you laughing, snuggling, and maybe chasing her around the house once or twice — Fleacia might just be your girl!   ADOPTION FEE: $950 Foster-to-adopt: Due to the incidence of IVDD in french bulldogs, we will not be altering the babies and think they need to be more mature before spay and neuter.  The puppies have been dewormed and received their first vaccines.  Further vet care, including spay and neuter, will be the responsibility of the adopters.  However, until the dogs are altered, it will be considered a foster situation, if they are not altered in the time period determined, they will need to be returned to us (and we will make sure).  Frenchies are cute, but with all breeding we believe only papered dogs with clear dna testing should be bred and as such we are strict that these puppies are pets only. We recommend with all bulldogs that you get insurance.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2025, 1:38 pm
