I am a pretty chill little man that loves his chew toys. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day starts with grabbing my favorite toy and heading outside to do a little sniffing around. Then I take care of business and head back in the house to get breakfast. I usually like to fall back to sleep while chewing on my favorite toy. I have been through a lot in my past, so I would like to get all of the attention. No other doggies please. IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? I currently live with my foster mom. Her boyfriend comes over frequently and I love to lay on his lap. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I hang out in my crate. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep in my crate. It is my safe, cozy space and I can relax and just be chill in there. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I like walking on my leash. I do like to steal brooms and chew them up, so brooms should be out of my sight. I also like to bark when playing with my pink toy outside. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED? Heck yeah! I am all good with the potty stuff… no worries there! DO YOU LIKE WATER? I run to the bathroom for bath/shower time! Swimming? I am not built for water sports, so let’s make it a team effort to keep me safe from pools and other large bodies of water, okay? WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? I have learned that people aren’t so bad. I get lots of cuddles and treats! WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? I had a not so good life before coming to NorCal Bully Breed Rescue. I was brought in after being shot in the head and arm. (Yikes, right? Scary!) But I am so lucky that NorCal Bully Breed Rescue took me in and nursed me back to health. I have put all that behind me now and I am doing great! Blu is a 7 month old English bulldog Rottweiler mix. He is a very loving fun, witty boy. Blu is microchip and has been neutered as of Wednesday, December 17. He is great around children, but unfortunately, within the last couple of months we have found that he has a hard time with other dogs. We have blu’s dad and unfortunately, we have had a hard time integrating them together in a safe manner that’s why we believe blue would be better off any home with no other pets. We desperately do not want to rehome him however it is the safest thing for not only blu but our other pet in the home. Our sweet boy would come with food, kennel, bed and his favorite toys.

Stuart currently prefers drinking from a water bottle rather than a bowl, which helps him manage his cleft safely and comfortably. What does his cleft mean long term? In over 13 years of raising cleft pups, surgery has rarely been necessary and is not recommended unless chronic sinus infections develop. Despite facing some significant challenges, K embodies the spirit of resilience and boundless joy. This delightful pup shares all the typical traits of a French Bulldog puppy – she loves to play, indulge in chewy hooves, enjoy her meals, and bask in the warmth of snuggles. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and she'll dance with excitement, hoping you'll scoop her up for some extra love. K, however, is a very special girl, born with severe defects, including Spina Bifida with an open defect and leg differences, as well as hydrocephalus (or missing parts of her brain). These conditions mean that her back legs didn't form correctly, and she'll require diapers throughout her life. Her balance is a work in progress, and she may experiences occasional seizures (no meds required as none have helped). While K's special care demands around 45 minutes a day, she firmly believes she deserves attention at all times. She is on the lookout for a family that can provide constant companionship. Foster mom works but luckily someone stops in to care for K during the day. K will eat hard food but doesn't have the drive for water, so she is fed mush (often by the spoon) to make sure she gets hydrated. Handling her bathroom needs involves gentle expressions, a routine that K takes in stride. This may seem like a lot, but the reward is immeasurable – the sheer happiness and joy that K brings to every moment. In terms of life expectancy, K's story aligns with another dog adopted out six years ago with similar conditions, who is still thriving today. While the duration of any dog's life is uncertain, what truly matters is the love and cherishment they receive during their time.
