Story
Meet Taz – Your New Best Friend! 🐾 Taz is a lovable, silly, and full-of-life pup who’s looking for a forever home! This goofy guy absolutely lives for playtime – toys are his jam – but when it’s time to wind down, he’ll happily curl up next to you on the couch for some cozy cuddles. He's the perfect mix of energy and affection. Taz has a huge heart and so much love to give. He’s got that charming, slightly crazy streak that keeps you laughing, and the kind of loyalty that makes every moment together feel special. He would love some older kids to play with (8-10+), but might get a little too excited for younger children and toddlers. He would love a pet sibling and gets a long great with his foster brother and sister. He is house broken and has not had any accidents but he is still working on remembering his manners all the time, especially when he gets excited. If you’re looking for a pup who will make you smile every day, keep you entertained with his antics, and snuggle up with you at night, Taz is your guy.

Story
Cookie is a 3yo, 69lb sweetheart who has clearly been through a lot, but somehow still greets the world with a gentle heart and soft spirit. She was found abandoned in an empty home alongside two other dogs, and she arrived at Front Street in rough shape, likely from untreated fleas and allergies. Right now, Cookie needs a little TLC, some comfort, and someone willing to help her feel safe and cared for again.Despite everything, Cookie remains incredibly easygoing. She comes right out of her kennel, walks beautifully on leash with no pulling, and calmly passes other dogs without reaction. She enjoys exploring, staying close to her people, and soaking up gentle attention. Everyone she’s met so far, including staff and volunteers, have been greeted with nothing but friendliness.Cookie may not care much about treats right now, but she absolutely responds to kindness. She has the quiet, grateful demeanor of a dog who just wants peace, comfort, and someone to love her back. She also appears to be likely house-trained.Underneath the rough coat and healing skin is a truly sweet girl who deserves a soft place to land and a family willing to see her for who she is: a very sweet girl who never stopped being gentle, even when life wasn’t gentle with her. Cookie Is currently in a building inaccessible to the public, so please ask to meet her!

Her owner loves her deeply but is unable to bring her to the new location. &#226&#156&#168 Personality & Behavior Friendly with children Has lived with dogs and kids Initially barks at new visitors, but once she meets them, she settles and relaxes If visitors have food, she’ll politely lay down nearby Potty trained Crate trained Allows people to take food and toys No history of biting Lily is affectionate, loyal, and easygoing once she warms up. Ideal Home Lily would do well with a family or individual who can give her a stable environment and continue the care she’s used to. Because she has lived both indoors and outdoors, she can adapt easily, but she loves being near her people. A home with yard access or daily walks would be wonderful. Story
Introducing London! She is a beautiful boxer/American bulldog mix (per dna test) who was out of time in the shelter. Her estimated dob is 3/1/24 and should be around 50 to 55lbs full grown. London is doing well.  She is a typical puppy who needs rules and boundaries. London needs proper introductions to strangers.  She is easily redirected to her toys and has been good about not chewing things in the house  She does like to dig a little and explore the yard.  She is doing great with the other pack members in the house and loves her visits to another foster to play with a group of youngsters!.  She is an exuberant player. And London really likes the water! We are walking in the neighborhood daily.  She is also learning basic commands. She is now on to the Intermediate obedience class and is picking up the commands quickly.  London stays in a crate at night and when her foster mom is away from the house. Potty training has been conquered. And London uses a dog door.  Car rides are also going well.  Cats are unknown. London's wish list: 1.   Secure yard 2.   Adult only home 3.   Obedience training ongoing 4.   Daily walks 5.   Continued socialization   6.   A playful dog friend would be good too!   Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Adoption fees range from $350-$475 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Aggie! (Formerly Ronan, but he’s upgraded—new name, same adorable chaos.) Born on October 16th, Aggie is a 27-pound snuggle nugget  which is the perfect size for lap warming, bed hogging, and dramatically throwing himself into your arms like the star of a telenovela. With a gorgeous seal-colored coat, a heart of gold, and just enough goofball energy to keep your life interesting. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready to wiggle his way straight into your lap and your heart. Aggie didn’t have the easiest start. He and his three siblings came from a heartbreaking situation—only two survived after being neglected by another rescue, and his dog mom checked out early on. The pups were dangerously underweight and had to be bottle-fed back to health. So yeah, Aggie has seen some things… and he’s here to tell the tale (mostly through zoomies and enthusiastic barking at the wind). Because of that rocky start, Aggie resource guards his food—totally understandable—so he’s fed in his crate. Outside the food bowl? Total love bug. Raised with other dogs, he’s playful, social, and would be thrilled to have a canine sibling to wrestle and romp with. Now, full disclosure: Aggie isn’t gunning for “Dog Jeopardy” any time soon. But what he lacks in academic ambition, he makes up for in charm and commitment to being the most snuggly loaf in the room. I can't say it enough, he thrives on affection, belly rubs, and curling up as close to you as physically possible—he's basically a weighted blanket with legs. Now, don’t be fooled by his size—Aggie has the energy of a dog twice his weight and the vocal cords of a town crier. Is that a bird? A breeze? A suspicious-looking Amazon box? You’ll hear about it. (We suspect there’s some chihuahua in the family tree.) He is probably part chihuahua, part neighborhood watch captain. He may not be the calmest dog on the block, but he makes up for it with charm, resilience, and top-tier cuddling skills. If you're looking for a funny, affectionate sidekick who’s overcome the odds and still greets life with a tail wag and a full-body wiggle—Aggie’s your guy.   You can apply online at:AdoptPet - Recycled Pets NorCalVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 10, 2026, 12:08 am
