She’s fantastic with dogs of all sizes and loves to play, but she’s equally content to Netflix and chill right by your side. Poppy is incredibly sweet and has zero concept of personal space—if you’re sitting, she’s snuggling. If you’re moving, she’s coming too. She loves car rides, being included in all the fun, and is super food-motivated, which makes her a dream for training. Toys are a big hit, but she also knows how to be the perfect calm, cozy companion. Poppy truly loves most everyone she meets—humans and dogs alike—and is just the kind of dog who makes every day brighter. She has occasionally been apprehensive of men entering the home but it’s not a behavior we have seen often. The sweetest girl ever, wrapped up in a petite, wiggly package 💕. She’s estimated to be 5-6 years old although her teeth suggest 3-4 years old and she weighs 29.5 lbs." Story

Lebowski is such an amazing dog, he is very calm and gentle. He is great on the leash, he is good with cats and most dogs. He is very calm and minds his own business with other dogs, he has been great with all the dogs he's met. That being said Lebowski doesn't like to play, he really doesn't have interest in toys and he's not going to be a playmate to another dog but he loves to lounge around and get some sun. He just wants to be pet all the time! He would actually be a great service dog to visit nursing homes and hospitals. He does drool quite a bit! He has been very healthy, haven't noticed any allergies or skin issues but definitely needs a quality food with no corn, or food coloring.

This is Aries. He is the sweetest little (big) guy ever. We rescued him from a lady in a Walmart parking lot. He has been with our family since 6 weeks. He did go to Riverdale to make sure he was not stolen (due to the breed he was). He recieved a neuter, shots, and surgery for cherry eye while there. We need to rehome as he is not getting along with our older cane Corso, and fights are becoming bad. He gets along great with our kids and with our smaller dog. He does have cherry eye, which is from genetics. We have opted out of surgery due to it being cosmetic vs anything else. He currently has a swollen paw due to getting into a fight with our older dog.

Nico is a sweet, sensitive boy who came from New Mexico, where he lived chained outside for the first years of his life. Since coming into foster care, Nico has become a super snuggly, curious couch potato who loves his people above all else. He is extremely low-maintenance and is comfortable being left alone. He has never been destructive and is completely house-trained! Because of his hard upbringing, Nico is sensitive around his collar and is not comfortable being touched there, nor does he like being kissed on the head or face, but he loves all other kinds of attention! He can also be slightly possessive over his food and toys, but he’s very good about showing when he’s uncomfortable. He has met other dogs outside and done okay, but should still be an only dog. He is also a hard no for cats. Nico needs a home with people who understand his needs, and if you think your living situation is right for him, then you couldn’t find a sweeter, squishier boy to complete your family!
