His start to life was difficult—he was abandoned at the Lifeline shelter by a breeder because he was born with scoliosis and could not be sold. The shelter team took him in, and with love and support, he has found his footing and become the most lovable and adventurous dog! He has been surrounded by people, dogs, and even cats throughout his puppyhood, and he does well with all of them! Truly a comeback story, Twizzler has grown into a remarkable dog. He loves to run, play tug-of-war, and cuddle. Twizzler will continue to build strength in his hind limbs and looks forward to a forever home with a devoted family. He will do best with frequent walks and a backyard to get out his energy and for the physical therapy benefits (continuing to build strength in his back legs). He has mild urinary incontinence but takes medication to help. We also believe that with development, time, and exercise, this may improve or resolve. This handsome guy is around 2yr old, and weighs 60lbs but a short guy. He is crate trained and is house trained. He has a medium-high energy level and enjoys playing with his toys and zoomies around a fenced yard. Kelso is best described as playful, silly and sweet. He is full of personality, super loving, he loves to greet you with a wiggly butt and a toy in his mouth! Treat motivated. He does well with other dogs with proper introduction. Kelso would love a forever home with a fenced yard or an active family, (he is in foster with children and has done well with them due to energy level and size older kids would be best), and a family who will provide him the resourses to continue leash skills and basic training. Once upon a time there was a precious little girl that wound up on a highway, she was hit by a car and sat in the pouring rain on the yellow lines in the middle of the road with her left back leg dangling into the oncoming traffic because it was so severely busted up and she was in to much pain, stunned & to scared and too cold to move as oncoming vehicles sped around her without stopping, until finally a good hearted young man stopped and pulled her out of the rain. As he took her to the emergency hospital to try and get her help, the rain stopped and a rainbow appeared -so that was what he called her, and it was a perfect name for a sweet girl whose personality is so happy and rosy that all she wants to do is love/kiss everyone she meets. Her personality is so rosy that we added that to her name (Rainbow Rosie). Not only would Rainbow Rosie make a loving family member, but she would also (with a trainer to help her learn how to settle since she is SOOO excited to meet new people) make an amazing therapy/emotional support dog for children in hospitals, veterans, or anyone in need to help them realize that there is always more to life after a tragedy. Rainbow Rosie is a 6 year old (approx) female American Bully mix (she's an outstanding ambassador for this breed) and she is completely healed/vetted and ready for a her next adventure with a loving family. Benny is an extremely sweet and unbelievably cute dog. He is 3-years old and loves everyone. He needs lots of love and attention. He loves balls of all sorts, his favorite is a red spiky one that squeaks and lights up. He is house-trained but does have some accidents inside. For that he just needs a lot of patience, love, and training. We got him when he was 2 and has some scars we believe are from past fights. He was attacked by another dog a few months ago while on a walk and has a scar on his leg. He loves other dogs, but we think he would thrive equally well in an only dog household. He loves children and he tries very hard to be gentle with them but sometimes he is bot spatially area of how big he is. He doesn't bark much but he does this howl-like noise sometimes. He is just so sweet and wonderful and we think he will make a great addition to any home.
