My name is Goose Caboose. I am an almost 2-year-old, 50+ pound English Bulldog. And, yes, I know I am a good-looking guy. So, let me tell you about myself: I'm playful and friendly, but I'm not the cuddly type; however, I'm full of love for my people. So, I'm looking for a home with adults where I can be the only animal in your life, without any other dogs, cats, or little people. About me, I like to be with you when you cook in case you drop something, and I like to lie at your feet while you work at your desk. And while I'm not as active as other breeds, I am always up for a stroll around the neighborhood. I am a goofy and sweet guy, but my breed can be a little stubborn, so I probably need an owner with English Bulldog experience. You also need to know two things: - One - My breed has some specific health issues, but my foster mom will explain them. - Two - I'm an English Bulldog so I can be a little stubborn, okay, maybe a lot stubborn. Flapjack is ready for the dog days of summer and still looking for her forever home. She loves all humans of all ages and participated in multiple school events. We do believe should do best with children that are a little older in her home. Flapjack is 5 years old and just under 50lbs. She is potty trained and crate trained. She loves to play tug of war or watch tv on the couch next to you. She will roll her potato like body over for belly rubs. Flapjack would do best as an only pet but would be happy to have human siblings. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. This handsome guy is around 2yr old, and weighs 60lbs but a short guy. He is crate trained and is house trained. He has a medium-high energy level and enjoys playing with his toys and zoomies around a fenced yard. Kelso is best described as playful, silly and sweet. He is full of personality, super loving, he loves to greet you with a wiggly butt and a toy in his mouth! Treat motivated. He does well with other dogs with proper introduction. Kelso would love a forever home with a fenced yard or an active family, (he is in foster with children and has done well with them due to energy level and size older kids would be best), and a family who will provide him the resourses to continue leash skills and basic training. Kelso was saved from the euthanasia list at an overcrowded shelter. This special guy deserves a wonderful home where he will be well loved! Benny is an extremely sweet and unbelievably cute dog. He is 3-years old and loves everyone. He needs lots of love and attention. He loves balls of all sorts, his favorite is a red spiky one that squeaks and lights up. He is house-trained but does have some accidents inside. For that he just needs a lot of patience, love, and training. We got him when he was 2 and has some scars we believe are from past fights. He was attacked by another dog a few months ago while on a walk and has a scar on his leg. He loves other dogs, but we think he would thrive equally well in an only dog household. He loves children and he tries very hard to be gentle with them but sometimes he is bot spatially area of how big he is. He doesn't bark much but he does this howl-like noise sometimes. He is just so sweet and wonderful and we think he will make a great addition to any home.

She's so grateful for all of the time you spend with her, and she shows it. She lives with 2 other large dogs and 2 rabbits. She has previously lived with cats. Because of previous trauma, she needs a slow, 5-10 minute introduction to new people and dogs, but will then quickly be their best friend after that! She will do best in a home with no young children. She is crate trained, house trained, and walks well on a leash! She has been in foster for over a year now with no interest. She was originally saved from being euthanized in a shelter while she was pregnant. All of her puppies have been adopted and she is still looking for her home. Please give this sweet girl a chance. Hi there, let me tell you a little about myself. My foster mom calls me Cici, and I like nothing better than hanging with my people at home or going on walks. I walk nicely on a leash and love exploring and sniffing while out. I'm a chill girl and very well-behaved in the home. I do all my pottying outside, and although I don't need to be crated, I will hang out in my crate if you need me to. I sleep in my crate in my foster home and love to lay alongside my people on the couch. I am a gentle girl and take my treats so nicely. I'm a ten-year-old Shar Pei/Boxer mix who is very healthy and weighs around 60 lbs. I'm unsure what it means, but my foster mom always tells me how gorgeous I am. I sound just about perfect, don't I? I like other dogs well enough and don't mind passing them when we walk. I can even play in the yard with some, but I'm not particularly eager to share my space or my things with them, so I'm looking for a forever home where I'm the only dog. I should clarify that I don't mind sharing my things with people; it's just the other dogs I don't want to share with. And cats? Well, my foster Mom says I'm way too interested in cats to be able to share a home with any. I don't have a lot of experience with young children but my foster mom thinks I shouldn't share my home with children under the age of 13-15.
