Could there be a more magnificent, wrinkly, mushy, chunk of a wiggle butt?!? We think not! Kelso was living on the streets of Atlanta and got himself a reputation as being a collector of "fine artifacts". He made a little pile of items that he collected: shoes, a traffic cone, pieces of garbage, etc. We guess in a way that was his way of having a home, by having a place for his stuff. :( He was finally caught by animal control and was not a fan of being in the shelter (what dog is?!?). Luckily for him he was sprung by a wonderful foster, and when Rescue Pals heard about him and saw his photos, we just had to help him and make sure he never ends up back in a shelter again! Kelso is a silly and loving big - yet short! - guy. He is in a foster home with other dogs and with young kids and does fine with everyone! He is young and playful and would probably enjoy a doggie sibling to roughhouse and run around with. Even though he's been great with kids, we recommend older ones for his forever home, just because of the possibility of him accidentally knocking little ones over. He is like a little bowling ball! This boy is STRONG, and he does need some work on the leash, so we would love for him to have a fenced yard where he can get some exercise while he hones those leash walking skills.     Hattie Lucky is as sweet as she is adorable! This small English Bulldog mix is the perfect size at 35 pounds. She is happiest when she can be with her person and will follow you from room to room, in case you want to stop and give her some pets and kisses. Hattie Lucky is young, so she still likes to chew on things, but is learning that dog toys are the best chew toys. She's house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She would do great as an only pet, but she also loves to play and enjoys playful dogs. If your dog would rather just be left alone to snooze on the couch, she's not a good match because she will drive him or her crazy trying to play.    It's important to note that she does not like to share food with other dogs and should be fed separately and not given access to the kitchen during meal prep and family dinner if she has a doggie sibling. If she's the only dog, she has no problem being around humans while they are preparing and eating their food. Once upon a time there was a precious little girl that wound up on a highway, she was hit by a car and sat in the pouring rain on the yellow lines in the middle of the road with her left back leg dangling into the oncoming traffic because it was so severely busted up and she was in to much pain, stunned & to scared and too cold to move as oncoming vehicles sped around her without stopping, until finally a good hearted young man stopped and pulled her out of the rain. As he took her to the emergency hospital to try and get her help, the rain stopped and a rainbow appeared -so that was what he called her, and it was a perfect name for a sweet girl whose personality is so happy and rosy that all she wants to do is love/kiss everyone she meets. Her personality is so rosy that we added that to her name (Rainbow Rosie). Not only would Rainbow Rosie make a loving family member, but she would also (with a trainer to help her learn how to settle since she is SOOO excited to meet new people) make an amazing therapy/emotional support dog for children in hospitals, veterans, or anyone in need to help them realize that there is always more to life after a tragedy. Rainbow Rosie is a 5 year old (approx) female American Bully mix (she's an outstanding ambassador for this breed) and she is completely healed/vetted and ready for a her next adventure with a loving family.
