Hi my name is Tali, I'm the biggest cuddle bug ever. There's not a single mean bone in my body. I love taking walks, going on car rides, swimming in the river, but mostly cuddling. My mommy and two tiny human siblings love me so much but mommy is now gone to much in the military and wants us to have more love. I'm potty trained and crate trained, tell me to go to my crate or potty and I will do just that. I love kids, cats, and other dogs to play with. I get along with everyone and everything. I am scared of fireworks and need a quiet place to hide till there done. The adoption fee for adults over 6 months of age is $200. They currently are fixed, up to date on vaccines, flea preventative, heartworm preventative and are microchipped with lifetime registration ($13). Smoosh face alert!!! If you want a cutie, patootie smoosh face then look no further. Alessia aka Ruka is one of the sweetest, loving (craves affection) and gentlest dogs ever met. She is excellent with all humans... even the little kind. As of now it is unknown how well she would get along with other dogs. She has shown absolutely no aggression towards any dogs so as a precaution, I would recommend using a muzzle. Alessia loves being told she's a good girl. Secretly, I think she thinks she is a Princess. She is very good getting her face washed and going for car rides. You will often find Alessia sitting (like a human) and watching TV with her little human friends. AND Alessia, of course, loves TREATS!!! Some more great things about Alessia is she is crate and house trained. She's such an amazing dog and has the cutest personality. She has the absolute cutest wiggle butt ever!!! Anyone would be lucky to have her.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.One minute you have an owner that takes you everywhere in his truck and lets you and your brother sleep on the bed or next to his recliner. Then the unimaginable happens and your dad won’t wake up. You can’t call for help, you can only watch over your daddy until someone stops by. After three days strangers started banging on the door and finally brake in. These are people you have never seen before. In your fear you both start barking and trying to protect dad. The next minute you have a catchpole choking your neck and throwing you in a kennel. You are separated from your brother and thrown in a loud kennel with strangers. You sit in a corner shaking with fear until you finally see a face you recognize. But you are so scared you keep barking and growling until you realize they are here to save you and your brother. This is Chula’s story. When we got Chula and Booger to the rescue they were still in shock from losing their dad. For the first two months they would only let Pat near them, since they knew her in their old life. Finally they started responding and were able to come to the kennels were they could interact with the workers and start looking for a new family. Booger was able to find a home and is living a remarkable life. Chula wasn’t understanding how she went from pampered housedog to living in a kennel by herself. A decision was made to place her with Chance and see if they could make a connection. The transformation of both dogs was incredible. Chance became sociable and would allow us to leash him and take him for walks with Chula. Chula enjoyed getting out of the kennel and playing. They started spending the day in our exercise areas playing and running. They have become social to new people and are ready for the right home. Chula is an older dog. She only has a few more years if she is lucky. She has been a house dog and has never pooped in her room. Ideally, we would love for Chance and Chula to find a home together. Unfortunately. we know how rare that opportunity is. Are you that special someone who has love to give to an older dog? She can be cautious around new people, but given a few minutes Chula will start working her magic on you. Chula’s ideal home will be an older family without small children and no cats or small dogs. She enjoys playing with toys and Chance in the rescue’s exercise yard. She would love and needs to have a home with a fenced yard with perhaps a companion dog so they can play and explore the yard together. Chula is a beautiful Shar Pei/lab mix who weighs 61.2 pounds. She has a thyroid issue, so she has to have thyroid pills twice a day. Are you wanting a partner to watch TV with? Chula is ready! Unfortunately she didn't have a good life as was found taking cover and hiding out in the bathroom stalls at the Missions baseball field. All that is behind her now and she is ready for her own family!! Alba's great with dogs, not sure about cats. She does a cute little dance when waiting for her food in her crate.
